Honestly speaking, I haven't heard a single good thing about Siba, and other artists had issues with them as well. Also, I believe GJM wouldn't pick JJY blindly, the issue with Siba has been going for a WHILE, and directors know what happens in the industry. They won't pick someone that would risk their drama because they're also business men after all and they don't want to waste money and resources. So there's no need to panic, JJY has a strong legal team, and takes cares of things quietly. 🙂‍↕️

Youku has many good dramas, but when it comes to costume ones, they take too long for whatever reason....

There are 2 reasons:
1. Tencent is HUGE compared to Youku, and they also released a LOT of materials.
2. Lai Zhan is a female centered drama and Ju Jingyi has the first billing. Tbh, Chinese fans are petty so at this point I think they prefer Lai Zhan than VOS because Ju Jingyi is sharing the billing with the rest... also lot of fanwars.
