If you think about it most of the stuff we saw of Dizhu/ManMan and Married Qing Yi/Cang Hao are most likely a flashback or another plot device that won't need much time to be shown. Perhaps 29 will be enough.

Yes it seems that's what happened! They filmed 30 episodes when Youku released a whole psychical book about their upcoming dramas they had 30 episodes written down as well.
