Watched episodes 1-6 and had no expectations (since normally i dont like work place focused dramas). Ngl i am here for Tan Jian Ci but as a fan i am often not able to watch a drama when the story wont click with me/ acting of several actors is off or the production lacks creativity etc.

I really did not know what to expect but i really enjoy watching it without skipping anything so far. I am eager to know where the journey gos. If you like to see quirky comedy. admirable written characters and kind of slow pacing (hard to say after watching the first 6 eps only) then give it a try.

Tan Jian Ci gives me his Hello Saturday vibes here but we will see how that is going to change. Trailer already showed some charakter development and episode 6 also showed at least his gloomy side.

For the other characters i like Yu de Shui the most. A Shu has to grow more on me and i hope Yu Shi Hua has a miracle character development within the next two episodes. ;) whoop whoop...

this drama diserves everything. every new episode makes my smile and i want more. For real i could watch Kim Baek Doo and oh yoo kyung bickering all day long. Give me a 2nd season. ;) they are so adorable. all characters are so charming and i already rewatched the first 8 episodes. They stole my heart. is the 8,1 because of the dialect? for my it was worth every minute. there is no way to not fall for kim baek doo. ;)

Well i needed to mydramalist the dramas first. I actually dropped "you are my glory" because i didnt like the execution of the plot that much (i know unpopular opinion) and i have not watched any of the other 3 so i will give it a try ty <3

Same for me, just spread the joy. and i think talking about it and keeping the drama in the trend helps to get more c dramas on western platforms :) the hype is real :)

Yes i felt that too, the expressions on his facegot a lot more detailed. it is like he is feeling it more and let himself into the story or the expierece with romance dramas over the years. Or he found love himself and now he can play what he expierenced? I dont know anything personal about actors. I am here for the stories ^^

I can totally relate to that. When i need a cry and a laugh at the same time i watch go ahead. Thats a save one ;) i also cried already watching hidden love when i see their love for each other overshining everthing with just one slight gesture.

then i hope this has helped other readers who are not that familar with chinese modern dramas. But i think its really rare to create this kind of feeling for the audience. :)

I think i will need to find out for myself then. Some mentioned Mr. Bad over and over. But now that u are pointing out that Zhe Yuan looks so young in "our secret" is a point for me too. Guilty pleasure how? its needed in life :)

That would be "go ahead" i guess. But the drama within the family has a way bigger impact and room in the storyline. But the relationship between ML and FL are as precious and cute. But the drama can be heavy at times.

to be honest i did not know him and i watchted plenty of dramas so far, its crazy how convincing he is. new fan here :)

Thats a great idea, i tried to look into other dramas Zhao Lu Si and Chen Zhe Yuan played in and currently started "our secret". It has similarties but and its charming but not on the level of "Go ahead" or "Hidden Love". How should i put it... in both dramas love feels natural and true. its not that easy to accomplish i suppose.

yes exactly :) need to rewatch too. and additionally both are healing dramas with healthy realtionships between ML and FL. It is beautyful to watch und to remember important things in life and heal urself.

no u are not alone, i am suffering too. most scenes are to charming to handle ... i feel if i watch i am interrupting something^^
