Captivating drama with a good production

I found this drama through youtube shorts reccommendations. I was intrigued and sat down to watch all three hours, and I can say I wasn't disappointed to do so. The story is simple and it's not really original, hence my rating, but it's very well executed, although I give them kudos for being so faithful to the book, which is always nice.
Nearing the last 30 minutes everything seemed to happen so fast, but the rest of the drama was very good so I can forgive that. All three main leads have good chemistry, and though I considered the Qiu Nai and Ruo Xun's acting a little bit stiff at times, they were nonetheless entertaining to watch. Ruo Xun SHINED, though, once their characters were married. He gave a great and emotional performance near the end.
