It's incredible that this wonderful series is Save's first leading role; his work as Wan is on another level! Each episode surpasses the last. I hope his acting career takes off from now on!

How can you even say there was more chemistry between Niran and Jace when they literally had one scene together in the entire series? It's not about lying to prove a point either lol
Furthermore, they didn't even reverse the roles; people are so used to seeing the typical roles assigned to each person that they weren't even able to enjoy something different. Their chemistry is there, and the story is completely different from what they've done before. Since when does playing different roles mean taking a step backward in your career?
It's fine if the series isn't for you, that's completely understandable, but wanting to justify your comment just cause you didn't like it is something completely different.
The first episode was so much better than I expected! I love that the cast is almost entirely new faces and it feels so refreshing to be a teenager. I have high hopes for this series. ^^
By the way, Tyler stole the whole episode. I love that such a simple action as asking him about his vacation made such a big change in his character 🥲
That has to be the worst ending I've seen in a long time in BL. An hour-long episode and magically everyone's friends and nothing happened? Mac and Tham deserved a better story.
My hatred for Mochi's character is reaching new levels. He's a downright awful person and honestly, he should just stay alone.
Krit isn't a good person either, but at least he's tried to move on and stop being a jerk, but Mochi? He's literally fighting with himself, Literally nobody hates him or has any beef with him, and yet he thinks he's the center of everyone's attention. How self-centered and awful do you have to be to be happy at the expense of others' suffering?
He's been so obsessed with Rin since middle school just because he wasn't his first choice; it's downright unhealthy. I don't understand what the writers expect from the audience with Mochi's character, And I'm sure Stamp is probably a great actor and a good person, but I swear I don't want to know anything more about Mochi and the supposed redemption arc he'll have (if he even has one).
I hope we see as little of the last episode as possible, or that it doesn't even appear :/

Honestly, when I started watching this BL, I didn't have high expectations, I didn't even think I'd actually watch it, but I think it's been one of the best surprises of 2026. It's an AMAZING BL!
Beyond the story, which I felt was something we hadn't really seen in enemies-to-lovers stories, I think the way it unfolded was beautiful.
I have so much more to say, but I still haven't fully processed the ending ☹️ I'm not ready to let go of this couple, I would have loved to see them much more during their university years and see how they handled the long-distance relationship a bit more. Even so, I thought it was a beautiful ending to the series.
Perhaps my only complaint is that I would have loved to see Sing and Chimon as a couple a little longer, but hopefully GMMTV has new projects for them!
I've got a feeling that Renji and Time won't really get the screen time required for them to be second male leads…

It's cause that's how the novel is lol they're being very faithful to the novel, and actually, it works quite well. We don't need a couple pulled out of thin air to make the series interesting.
I think that's something that actually happened a lot to Seakeen in their other projects; the second couple were never well-received/felt very forced, so many people stopped watching their series cause of it.

I understand the criticism, but I really don't think it was meant for you from the beginning if you didn't know a little bit about the novel beforehand.
Sea has acted as Cheewa in a much more human way than he actually is; in the novel he speaks much more complex dialogue and isn't as keen on physical contact or wanting to demonstrate his feelings in general.
And as for the plot, I think you completely missed the point. It's not about the nerd chasing the athlete; it's just two people getting to know each other when they come from different worlds. Perhaps you can understand it better if you read the novel.
For me, it wasn't the best-directed episode, but I think it's the most interesting so far and the best simply bcause we finally see that these two are aware of their feelings but they still refuse to do anything about it because of their egos. I think it's even more interesting to see the dynamic of everyone already knowing that something serious is going on, but they're just waiting to see what happens.
Another thing I love! We're finally moving beyond just seeing Pun as the lovestruck best friend; they're finally giving him a personality and a life outside of Moth. I love that it's related to his interests and not to what his friend likes. Even so, I think he's the only one who's a victim of the situation (three walking red flags). I'm looking forward to seeing how their relationship develops and how he develops his new feelings for Ten. I'm really curious about their story and what will happen when Pun finds out everything.

I'm glad we got to see our original Gelboys one last time, and I hope we can see more Gelbabies soon even if it's just in a special!
