It's a series about teenagers being teenagers, and honestly, these days when you're bombarded with overly complex traumas, it's comforting to see something like this. I wish it had more than 8 episodes 🥹
Baabin absolutely doesn't deserve Bua as a boyfriend, and things have changed so much this season that honestly, all I want is for them to break up and for Bua to find someone who's actually willing to commit to a relationship
How could he stand his boyfriend up and make him cry on his birthday? I hope Bua values himself more and finally sets boundaries with Baabin
After finishing this week's episode, I'm going to defend Wan. I understand that everyone sees him as disinterested, but let's be realistic, his life changed overnight. What did you honestly expect?
We don't see much of him during those days, but he's clearly not used to being the center of attention and having such a tight schedule. Plus, he's a college student, so of course he's struggling to juggle his schedule to make it work
Furthermore, he's carrying a huge debt just to help his parents. Unlike most of the characters in the series, this is NOT his dream; it's simply his job, and maybe that's why everyone sees him as disinterested, but he's just giving his job what it takes
I think the director's comment (which was quite accurate, by the way) proves it. Wan IS interested in his work; that's why he asks questions and constantly interrupts. His true personality is that transparent. Why is the coach so bothered about doing something that's HIS job?
Yes, Wan could have prepared better, but most of them (if not all except Renji and the director) aren't even trying to understand him; they just don't want to give him a chance
Maybe this isn't very healthy of me, but I don't really see either of them as being a "red flag." I just see two people who know their boundaries and have found someone with whom they're willing to push them a little to see what happens
So far, Dean honestly seems the most consistent of them all. He never promises anything more than a casual fling, and if the opportunity arises, he'll be friends. I think the real problem is that people get attached to him hoping he's "the one" 😂
As for Moth, the only "bad" quality I see in him is that he's not able to reject his friend on his own, but I can understand it to a certain extent. Pun has been his friend for ages, and he must be conflicted about cutting him out of his life like he would the others
To be honest, I think Ten's attitude is the most red flag in the series so far, mainly cause he prefers to let Pun get hurt so he can comfort him instead of trying to win him over in a normal way. And besides, you being the one who encourages your friend to do it seems more questionable to me
Speaking of the episode itself, I thought it was amazing! The only thing I think needs changing are those scenes where they focus directly on them because, at least for me, they were very awkward lol
Other than that, I think the series is soooo good!; I wish it had more than 10 episodes :/
It's so frustrating with this group of friends, and absolutely no one is doing anything to try to improve. This is a problem they've been dragging along for several episodes now.
Everyone can see that Putter isn't having a good time, everyone could see that Lee was having a terrible time, and there was a moment when Indy was also struggling, and yet, no one cares. :/
I know they're teenagers, and most of them are male, but that doesn't diminish their empathy.
And another BIG problem I see is that Indy and Jia's storyline is developed WAY too late and feels rushed. It doesn't even seem like Jia has feelings for Indy beyond friendship, and it's so sad to see cause they had so much potential as a secondary couple!
Honestly, I don't see how they're going to fix everything in a single episode if the next one is the last.
Why do y'all want to see such a stilted and intense kiss between 18-year-old boys? I find it super weird that this is one of the main reasons you watch the series and one of the reasons you label the episode as 'weak'.
It's the first time Mac and Tham have shared the lead roles; they're rookies, and of course they have a lot to learn. Sometimes I think some of you forget that ALL actors went through this stage, and everyone had to grow to demonstrate their acting talent.
Besides, delving into the story, the way the kiss is made MUCH MORE sense. Khobfa is a boy who has clearly never had a relationship, or even a close encounter with one. Rin is a boy who is hurt and afraid of confusing his feelings. Did you really expect the kiss to be different? Sure, it had to feel a little slow and even awkward, but that doesn't detract from the realism and magic of the confession. It makes perfect sense with both of their personalities, the moment, and what they had just been through.
four episodes and only one it's good,,,, i hope things only get better from now on, but i highly doubt it. Baabin's entire character is unbearable this season.
This has to be the best BL of the year. We needed a series with real problems that don't feel forced. And not to mention that all the characters feel so genuine! I'm not ready to let them go in two more Saturdays :(
god i LOVE this serie. I love the personalities of all the characters, but especially Duang's. Here he showed us that he is not only extroverted but also mature and assertive in his actions.
And can we talk about the sofa scene? I think it's been a LONG time since I've seen that kind of chemistry in a BL. The conversation, the confession, the kiss, EVERYTHING makes sense. The work that Teetee and Por are doing is incredible.
Episode 10 might have one of the worst endings I've seen lately in BLs. I'm fed up with them building good plots and developing them well only for everything to be resolved thanks to the magic of the time skip at the end.
