He is a coward who can't stand for his sister, for his sister-in-law but pathetic enough to boast about his connections in the job and throwing tantrums in the job, and get jealous and fight with her own wife over how good she is in her job..disgusting just like his parents..shame on him

I can get his situation he loves his gf and wants to get married ...but ultimately it boiled down to the fact that whatever he is doing is to impress someone else...on the expense of his own family.
Xing-fu worked so hard to get back that money, she wanted to restart farming with that money.
I also think that the parents of his gf must be fully aware of how much he earns and how much he can afford..so what is the point of doing a grand wedding on expense of hard-earned money from his sister-in-law and sister.

Seriously ??There are such rules in china??Your kids can't go to school if you don't own a house?
Whatever the reasons,rituals, social cultures are there..it can't justify their actions ..it is fucked up and seriously need to change.

Then he should have just rented it like his brother and sister in laws if he can't afford it. ..I think his main purpose was to impress his gf and her mother...also he was aware that how much Xing-fu worked to get back that money, how much his family already sacrificed to send him in city, instead of helping them he is still a burden for them..his parents are now worried about his marriage and looking ways to get more money for Xing-fu.

Yes the son will continue the lineage, but their son who even though work in city at a good position still can't buy a house on his own and need money from his parents that his sister-in law worked so hard to get and even he is aware of it, the same house where his family can't stay , the house where his gf wants over-priced curtains.
How capable is he to be honest?? His parents still want to take money from his sister-in -law for his marriage, just to impress his in-laws.
It was their daughter who invested all her hard-earned money in it and supported Xing-fu, when they as usual were against of it.
They never ever support their daughter or their daughter-in-law in anything but always ready to take their money and spend it as they want.
Also I seriously hope that Xing-fu support her own mother with the money that she is earning from inn as well, and don't let her in-laws take it all to arrange a grand marriage for their son.
How pathetic they are to wish for the failure of their own daughter, to not support her and always dis-courage her in everything but always thinking to take her hard-earned money and and spend on their good for nothing son's marriage.

Can anyone please clear one thing for me, their youngest son I suppose has a good job in city, he can't afford a home on his own?? I guess he wants a big house and something out of his budget to impress his gf and her family..
Now he got promoted and most probably working at a high position , he can't afford his own wedding now?? Why the hell his pathetic parents want to take money from Xing Fu when she has just started her business ?? Are they that stupid and care about only showing -off and fake impression on everyone?

This series has shown lots of issues to handle, I can't decide whom should I hate most.
It has shown lots of issues , sexual assault, workplace sexual assault, toxic relationship between husband and wife, how wives have to compromise in a relationship, insecure husband who hates to see his wife grow , un-supportive in-laws, and husband and so on..but in all these cases victims have to compromise one way or another and culprits have to face no legal consequences or no character growth or even an inch of guilt what they have done.
Now we have another issue which involved many criminal activities from identity theft to destroying lives, I hope this time victims don't have to compromise.
Now lets talk about the pathetic Wang family, I may be wrong but that's what I honestly think about them.
They are cowards we all know it, they always talk about having low status in village and being poor, it can be true on paper but as much as I have seen in the series, no one in the village mistreat them.
They live in such a bug house and own(used to) own farmland as well, I think there situation is not bad then any other village household.
They don't have any empathy for their children at all, all they care about is their own short term happiness and mental peace, and their attitude is worst for their own daughter.
They managed to send their son to study , maybe they can't afford to send their daughter as well, but considering their attitude I feel like they think it's waste of money more then having no money.
They were fully aware how much their own daughter care about that exam, for god sake how can they even say such thing, how can they wish failure for their own child??
They are always thinking about their other son, but what he is capable now??
They can't live in his own house that he has bought from their money.

The way this series is showing the bitter truth is too much for me to be honest.
They are seriously showing how Wang family don't have any regard for their own daughter.
They seriously send one of their son to study , they must be fully aware how much their daughter care about her result still as a parent how can they wish such things for their own child??

They are the worst to be honest, they always nag about being poor and all while living in such a huge house and maybe I am wrong but no one treat them bad in the village , their one son is working in city at high position, one daughter is working in factory and one though not that good but mainly because of his attitude, I seriously don't know why they always fear the village and make the situation worst for their own family..Qing Lai got all his cowardliness from his mother and father

I seriously hope that like rest of the cases of injustices in this series, this time the victims don't compromise and the culprit actually have to pay the price legally.

Am I the only one who after reading the synopsis(when the pic was not uploaded) thought that it is going to be a rom-com type with the depiction of struggles of ML as a lawyer...so was not initially interested.
After seeing the trailer, I got kind of surprised and excited to watch it as well.

The episodes were good but quite frustrating and triggering.
That spoiled brat should be in jail also how could they forced her to apologize to that bas**tard.
What were they expecting her to do..just stand there and say her sister getting assaulted??
Of-course she had to hit him on his head..no need to apologize.
The whole family is bunch of cowards and that sister in law who wants to be a graduate and study books..being an educated woman..she cant even realize how bad the situation is??
And that MR.Wan..people respect him for no reason.
I really hope that in next episodes..FL reports it to the police and brings justice to her sister.
That bas*rd and all the villagers need to learn some lessons.
Her sister has locked herself in her room and that Bas**rd is enjoying and joking about it..that's what happen.
The assualters think it is not a big deal but the victims can be traumatized for their whole life ..an apology is not enough.
