I am at the ep 3 of this drama...disgusting attitude of police..more concerned about the assault of a rapist then the rape of an innocent girl...also I can't digest the fact but can someone please enlighten me..in SK minors can actually roam around freely after raping someone?? No juvenile detention?also how can school board allow a rapist to comeback in the same school??Also how can ML thinks that apology will be enough ??Good thing he saw those pics and tortured that Ras**l, though I think he needs more torture and punishment.
the only good character here was ji soo but gyu ri had a character development
Maybe that can be the case..but honestly speaking even to that point I would disagree..because for me all the characters were really well written with their own flaws and complexity.

I am actually not talking about only this particular drama..I have seen lots of chinese drama based on high school..and these two things are quite common in almost every drama..FL is not good in studies but cheerful and ML is good in studies..I also know that intelligence is of different types but why can't the writers show this through ML?? Also if by any chance FL is good in studies than she has to be a character without much personality.
the story is quite cliche..the characters though played very well but are typical FL and ML freshly out of the mold..you can easily guess their next step. As I said before lots of people can love it..even I really enjoyed it...but I have to say it's not giving anything new and when you usually rate a series in numbers..human brain ,not get triggered by extreme emotions ..won't rate above 8....usually for romantic series or movies until and unless it's ending is not bittersweet..people very rarely rave about it..20th century girl gets so much popular for a reason.
another Chinese drama with FL who is verrryyy cheerful but not good in studies..I still don't understand the obsession of Chinese writers to have almost all female leads with these traits. Also ML always has to be good in studies..why tho?
I think 8 is enough..I mean I totally understand why some people can actually fell in love with it..It triggers the nostalgia of romance but it lacks in lots of things.

She is strong but she is giving me a laid back vibes..like typical FL who is good to everyone and care about everyone..but among other female leads having both good sides as well as bad sides ..she looks kinda dull...like there is not much colors in her character.

I can understand their reasons but if you tell me to respect that outdated and pathetic reason then I can't. My point is different places have different cultures and social rituals..but it is also true that not everything about any culture is right..it has some good point as well as bad point..in order to remove that bad aspect of that culture we should criticize that. A culture or thinking where parents only care about sons that too only that one who is living in the city i.e. more successful and discourage the dreams of their daughter and to think that duty of a girl child is to get married is wrong and should be criticized...I can respect good values like how much they respect their elders and many more but an outdated value which is causing loss more then benefit should be removed or replaced. Also I maybe wrong but it's just my thinking that values are created by our ancestors what they thought were correct according to their times..but is it correct to throw that values on current generation when those values are not practice for today nor feasible??

After latest episode..all I can say that the parents are selfish and do everything for their short term happiness and for their own benefit..so I don't want to understand them at all..and they deserve the criticism.
