Okay i'll try.
So baby wei rao was born to lady li and the wei general.
when she is 2 years old, she's kidnapped and left in a forest.
some lady was looking for their lost child in forest(she found her child but the child is already dead) and came across baby wei rao. She took her and replaced baby wei rao as her daughter and gave her daughter's name achao to baby wei rao.
so from here on wei rao has grown up with the name A'chao.
Meanwhile, in wei household after a year after the kidnapping of baby wei rao, they "found" her and raise her as wei rao(fake).
This fake wei rao is not a random child though, she's in relation cousin to achao.
In this drama the resemblence is hinted due to the fact that wei general(A'chaos real father) has a twin called wei heng and fake weirao is her daughter.

But a'chou is not other daughter. she is the ONLY daughter of lady li. Jundai is wei hengs daughter not ladyli's. The bones they checked are supposed to be a'chous but the maid of fat aunt betrayed her and replaced with some random baby bones.

I love his charaterization too!! both actually. even though it's only 2 episodes i can see and feel the consistency with their characters i love it. Feels very grounded and real
> >> On a related note, it's clear why Minjae didn't pick up what she was putting down at first;
which scene are you refering to exactly?
