Title No Tail to Tell Spoiler
Eunho wasn't mistaken about fate. The first fate she saw really belonged to Siyeol's friend. However, after the accident and meeting Siyeol at the hospital, the future vision became clearer and transferred to Siyeol.

At the same time, Siyeol didn't steal it intentionally either. He wasn't involved in the accident. He simply received an opportunity instead of the friend who was originally destined for it. He always did well, only he lacked full financial support. The club scout showed some interest by asking for his name. That basically implies he was the second choice.

It may sound unfair to Wooseok but Siyeol is the only one profiting from Wooseok's accident. Luckily, he didn't waste a golden opportunity. He lived a highly disciplined life until he became successful.

Not sure about this drama yet. Something just felt missing for me in the first 2 eps. Hopefully, it will get better…
The writer said yesterday that the real story begins in ep.3 ~

At the beginning of ep 1, was that not the ML who was on the ground with his blood going to the FL, did she kill…
It’s expected to be revealed in ep. 3 or 4, but from teaser the FL wasn’t the one who set up that place

The OST lyrics really help give a better overview of the plot and deeper insight into the charactersOne Last Chance…
-If it’s not fate, I can’t explain it
This side of me that feels overwhelming
Hurting and yet made to smile

-Even if a high wall block our way
If it’s you, if we’re together
I can try to smile

-A silent vow fading out beneath the moonlight
One last breath, there's no escape

-No one ever wished to stay
I'm just a fading little star

-Leave me now, before I drag you under
Love is a lie, can't be saved

These parts feel so interesting. I’m dying to know how the story unfolds

‘One Last Chance’ probably reflects Siyeol's pov (it fits football scene well), while ‘Can't Be’ could be Eunho's pov (it has a enigmatic vibe and sound)

One Last Chance - TUNEXX
[Verse 1]
The moment I first saw you, I could tell
The reason that echoes
So loudly inside my head
Even if I hold my breath, I can hide it anymore
Because my heart, beating as if it might burst
Tells me that it’s you

[Pre-Chorus]
If it’s not fate, I can’t explain it
This side of me that feels overwhelming
Hurting and yet made to smile

[Chorus]
Yes, I’m running to you right now
Even if I fall, I can never give up
I hear you amidst the burning cheers
Only you are shining bright
It’s the last chance, leave it to me
I’ve practiced and waited this moment for hundreds of times
My kiss that will reach you, as I stake my everything
Now let’s start our love

[Verse 2]
Stay as you are, don’t let go of the hand you hold
Your heart is closed tight
I will open it for you

[Pre-Chorus]
Even if a high wall block our way
If it’s you, if we’re together
I can try to smile

Can’t Be - Yoari
[Verse 1]
Tell me now, the secret you've been hiding
Desire, your dark wish
A silent vow fading out beneath the moonlight
One last breath, there's no escape

[Pre-Chorus]
I'll never break, I'll never bend
I never tried to understand (Ooh)
No one ever wished to stay
I'm just a fading little star (Ooh)

[Chorus]
Bless me with the leaf born of the soul (Ooh)
The eye can see the tears inside of me

[Verse 2]
Leave me now, before I drag you under
Love is a lie, can't be saved
A twisted path disappearing in the twilight
One more step, then feel the fall

[Pre-Chorus]
I believed in love and fate
But I'm lost, now I fade alone (Ooh)
In the dark, I feel it calling
This is all I felt in the end

[Chorus]
Bless me with the leaf born of the soul (Ooh)
The eye can see the tears inside of me

[Outro]
I don't wanna be a man, I can't be, can't be
I don't wanna fall in love, I can't be, can't be

I always let FANTASIES MARINATE...so I will wait until 10 episodes are released but...ya'll ...tell me...ARE THERE…
Based on the writer's interview, Americanization wasn't mentioned at all. And I didn't sense any of that while watching either.

Writers : The core theme of our drama is 'loving in my own way.’
We wanted to tell a story about whether one can love another without giving up their own identity, and to depict characters growing together in that process.

Excellent point. A person can be forgetful about names, places and people but to forget an entire supernatural…
That scene where Siyoel fell asleep after getting the suitcase is also a mystery to me.. but I have no idea what happened yet. There are so many theories already for just 2 episodes 😂

I know most people probably already know that Ep 1 and 2 were all about character introductions and setting the rules of this MZ Gumiho world. But the writer just confirmed on their ig story that 'The real story starts from episode 3.'

I think Siyeol remembers Eunho..

When Eunho greeted him, the editing took its time a bit. That makes me curious, he's just pretending not to know her.

It’s possible to forget someone after just a couple of meetings, But look at this boy, successful and living the high life, yet he’s still using the same suitcase from 9 years ago that he got from her. Doesn't it say a lot?

When she showed up at his house, the first thing he said was 'You again' followed by 'Who are you?'. If he only remembered her as the weird girl from the airport, he should've said 'How did you get in here?' right after 'You again' instead.

The way he asked 'Who are you?' makes me feel like he's trying too hard to hide the fact that he actually remembers her.

I guess the 'You look familiar' part is just a bait of typical K-drama moves. They write and edit things to lead us to misunderstand. Later, they'll probably take those same scenes with his inner thoughts to explain why he was acting like that.

And when she suddenly disappeared from his house, he said, 'She’s still the same, she comes and goes as she pleases.' hmmm... sounds like he remembers her perfectly fine to me.

Episode 2 : Character introductions are over now their fates have changed.
Some end up in prison, some thriving, some hit rock bottom, and some find their fortune isn't enough to buy an island.

The only disappointing thing about this episode is that the romance is still so faint. Well, it’s more than the first episode, but it’s still not enough for me (just 2 scenes?). I’m craving Siyeol and Eunho’s forced cohabitation.

It's a bit of a shame that hot and rich Siyeol only appeared briefly before switching back to chaotic and poor Siyeol. I get the authors anyway. Swapping Siyeol and Wooseok’s fates is necessary to lead to the growth and evolving relationship between Siyeol and Eunho, which is the main point of the drama.

(I especially loved Choi Seungyoon’s performance in this episode. He really nailed that scene in front of the police station.)

Episode 1 : Not bad for an introduction to a new fantasy character's world. The fresh ideas and the character development starting right from the first episode have me hooked. Overall, there's a lot of potential for the story to become much more intense.

I really liked Eunho's dialogue about human life. It clearly explains her strong reasons for not wanting to be human.

Hyeyoon has truly created a new character for her profile. This isn't Yeseo, Danoh, or Im Sol at all. I’m so curious to see Eunho’s emotional range when those powerless situations come up.

I feel like Lomon’s charm is a bit hidden while playing younger Kang Siyeol. I bet his adult charms will be on another level in Episode 2!!

Just as we came to deeply cherish the characters while writing the script, we hope the viewers will also love Eunho and Kang Siyeol.

Director : I hope that 'No tail to tell’ is not seen simply as a story of someone's fate changing, but rather becomes a work that, like 'salt and light,' allows you to reflect on your own life by watching someone who lived a life different from yours.

Writers : Both of us have worried that we wouldn't be able to meet the standards of being an 'adult' required by the world.

It seems that many young people today share these same concerns, not just us. There aren't many people who are completely free from societal pressures. When to get a job, when to get married, or when to own a house.

Unlike us, Eunho is a character who boldly rebels against the world's orders and norms that everyone else takes for granted.

While such behavior might sometimes seem immature or irresponsible, we believed there would be moments when that very recklessness and innocence provide comfort and encouragement to us.

Writers : We had to portray Kang Siyeol from his past as a high school student to his present as a top sports star, and the relationship with Eunho starting from a hostile relationship and developing into falling in love. requiring the actor to handle a wide range of emotions.

Because of that, I thought of an actor who has both a boyish charm and a mature charm at the same time.

So, I remember jumping with joy when I heard the news of Lomon's casting.

Thanks to actor Lomon, who is both steadfast and diligent like an athlete, yet also has the feeling of a handsome and glamorous star, the character Kang Siyeol was perfectly realized as if he popped out of the script.

Writers : When Eunho gets angry, she smashes divine statues with a hammer. When she is furious, she goes to a temple and pours gasoline.

However, we wanted the character to be portrayed not as annoying, but as someone so purely cute and absurd that she makes you let out a hollow laugh of disbelief. That’s why we hoped for an actress with lovely energy who wouldn't look hateful at any moment

And Kim Hyeyoon came to us as a gift.

We were so happy and grateful that we said we had used up several years' worth of luck all at once.

Without Kim Hyeyoon’s unique lovely yet powerful performance, Eunho would never have been completed. It was a perfect casting, beyond anything we could imagine.

Writers Park Chanyoung and Jo A-young

Director : Both actors were already rising stars before casting, and this fresh combination in a drama with new material was a great source of energy for the director.

Kim Hyeyoon's greatest charm is her 'sincerity.’
Every actor works hard, but there are few who approach their work with as much sincerity and heart as she does.

And Lomon's greatest charm is his 'purity.' He has the feel of a blank canvas. His purity is so attractive that it makes directors greedy to see how they can paint on it.

Their acting chemistry was so good that it feels like they were always looking in the same direction.
