Title No Tail to Tell Spoiler
EP.12
It's not exactly a sad ending as expected (for now), but it's the conclusion I'm looking for.
Eunho remains a Gumiho while Siyeol has a normal human lifespan.
In the future, they’ll follow their own life cycles, but for the present, they’re simply living for the moment and enjoying the time they have left together.

I cried through almost the whole episode. From the beginning, when Eunho said LOVE, the time they spent apart for 9 years (Eunho is so smart, she literally planned everything), Hokang during their first date in 10 years. (It was so funny, but the fact that Eunho wanted to take so many photos so she would never forget Siyeol since she's immortal, made me cry harder. So I was laughing and still sobbing at the same time🥲), Eunho’s vision of the future..
Actually, I can see my own future too!! My eyes are going to be so swollen tomorrow😵‍💫

So glad Siyeol's Division 4 close teammates have a bright future🎉 And seeing grown-up Geumho was such a treat. I’m grateful that Geumho has no intention of becoming human anymore. If she did, Eunho would be completely alone once Siyeol's time is up.
This is probably the real happy ending for me. No matter how many humans come and go, at least the Gumiho sisters will always have each other.

EP.11
Beautiful date scenes. Eunho and Siyeol's chemistry is absolutely on point.

The shaman’s monologue was a bit redundant. It felt like over-explaining things we already knew. I get that they want us to understand his character, but we’re long past the point of sympathy. I’m just waiting for his final moments, not his tragic backstory.

I knew the angst was coming, but this is too cruel. They literally just took their first photo together, and now they have to... say goodbye?
(I’m Team Sad Ending because I don't want them to be an immortal couple which would disrupt the natural cycle of human life, as they presented it from the very beginning. However, I still wished we could have seen their sweet moments for a bit longer.)

The performance in that last scene was insane. I really want to see Choi Seungyoon and Kim Hyeyoon act together as enemies again.

Did anyone else catch Eunho’s eyes well up and then a tear fall in that wide shot? It happened for a split second as she turned her face away from Lee Yoon.
(This is my take on acting in general, not just this drama. The close-up scenes showing emotions clearly are great for immersion, I'm even more drawn to subtle acting and tiny details.)

EP.10
Eunho was so cool in this episode!! She was truly determined to protect Siyeol in both life and mental state.
Now she handled everything so thoughtfully, managing current situations while fixing past mistakes flawlessly.
It was touching to see how guilty she felt, realizing she'd caused a successful woman's career to be cut short.

And my favorite Eunho scene in this episode has to be the black card 💸
(Eunho's unserious jealousy scene was pretty fun to watch too.)

Siyeol is a totally gentle boyfriend. There’s no awkwardness or shyness left between them. Holding hands, leaning on shoulders, and even resting her head on his lap.. They’re honestly adorably annoying!!! I have no idea where the bickering duo went. All that's left is a couple that’s practically glued to each other.

P.S. I'm so satisfied that the debt issues of Siyeol's teammates have been resolved.
I've braced myself for a sad ending for the main characters, but I really hope all the kind-hearted supporting characters get to find happiness on their own paths.

Title No Tail to Tell Spoiler
Is this the first episode without any scenes of them yelling or getting frustrated?

Even as they take their relationship to the next level, they still have those little awkward moments but when Eunho comes out of her room she doesn't hesitate to grab Siyeol's glass for a drink, it’s so natural and full of comfort..
This contrast is what makes their sweetness feel so organic.

Siyeol, the man who's usually so stubborn, has completely lost his edge when it comes to Eunho without even realizing it. He stands by her even though she sold his AC, and instinctively gets protective of her during the part-time job drama. He no longer cares how much trouble she might cause, he’s just there to back her up no matter what.

Eunho, who usually keeps her guard up, has finally let it down and showed her vulnerability to Siyeol. Not only that, she’s also genuinely concerned about the hardships he faces as well.

The old couple vibe showed up again and I was never bored. There's the worried mother who can't stand seeing her daughter fall for a total loser, while the protective father is always doting on his daughter.

My only gripe while watching is their relationship has only just officially begun, we’re finally seeing beautiful friendship around them clearer. With only 3 episodes left, it’s ending way too soon for me. I need to bask in the joy a bit longer before any angst kicks in!!

I think the agency noona became what she is to maintain the balance of Hyeon Wooseok's father becoming a star…
Personally, I don't think Siyeol and Wooseok's life swap relates to any kind of balance, since the story focuses on the Butterfly Effect, only their career paths changed, but their life situations still reflect their personalities and abilities.

In this timeline, Siyeol lost his chance at a football career. He had an accident that served as the turning point, deciding which of them would head overseas and become a superstar player.

According to the original timeline, grandmother should have passed away 6 years ago, which was 3 years after Siyeol went abroad, but the reason she is still alive is that she didn't have to live alone in Korea, as Siyeol was right there to look after her.
If there are any further deaths, it would likely be a consequence of their own actions rather than to balance out the grandmother's fate.

Korean viewers noticed the kiss scene in ep.8 and Eunho's nightmare about Siyeol at the end of ep.4 took place in the exact same spot.
I think it was intentional, meant to show dreams and reality mirroring each other, but it's not exactly a turn for the better for Eunho, given that both death and love were originally Eunho's deepest fears.

EP.8 : Enjoy the calm before the storm. This episode was so good that I didn't see anything that needed improvement. Maybe I was too busy enjoying it to notice any flaws.

Hokang’s fake dating is so fun!!!! Eunho acts like a wife trying to keep the spark alive with her husband, but she always ends up just being her true self.

I'm obsessed with their love language. They laugh when the other has a bad temper, their blood boils when one of them gets hurt. This is all sweeter than any actual confession.
(lowkey on the sad ending team anyway)

Eunho and Palmiho together are everything to me!!!

Having to wait about 2 weeks(?) for Ep. 9 is absolute torture😭

EP.7 : The only thing I didn’t like was that the internal dialogue was too long.
I feel something like this should be concise. If a long explanation is necessary, having the character mutter inaudibly would feel smoother for me.

In this timeline, even though Siyeol didn't head overseas to shine and is stuck in Division 4, at least he gets to spend quality time with his grandma and take her on trips across the country 😭

Catching a glimpse of the agency Noona in ep.6 was a clever hint. It shows that the butterfly effect has reached everyone around Siyeol and has even altered his grandma's life path. He’s still completely oblivious, and I had no idea it was coming either!

I really like Eunho's progress now. Before, she used to come off as harsh because she never catered to anyone’s feelings and never sugarcoated her words, which made her seem far from kind-hearted. But recently when she realizes she hasn't been treating others well, she owns up to it and doesn't hesitate to apologize directly.
Her honesty remains the same, but her perspective has shifted for the better, and it's a joy to watch.

I'm so relieved to finally see that Pagun’s intention wasn't to bully Eunho out of spite, but rather to teach her a lesson.
(The way he warned Siyeol..)

I just listened to a podcast that mentioned Friedrich Nietzsche’s quote 'In heaven, all the interesting people…
Everyone has their own outlook on life. As long as that desire doesn't harm anyone or isn't achieved at someone else's expense, no path chosen is wrong.

I just listened to a podcast that mentioned Friedrich Nietzsche’s quote 'In heaven, all the interesting people are missing.' It immediately reminded me of Palmiho and Geumho's longing to be human. Even though having powers is better than having none, not everyone actually wants to be a superpowered being.

EP.6 : 0 complaints. The editing, character development, storytelling, and script were on point.

So far, so good! The writer hasn't used any annoying tropes I usually avoid. The direction of these characters is exactly what I hoped for. It’s so much fun watching this trio without love triangle drama.

Even though Eunho acts upset about the fox’s desire to become human, she’s actually more concerned about the 8-tailed's future than her path to becoming a Gumiho again. She spends so much of her time in episode 6 worrying that the 8-tailed will make the wrong choice and have to live with regret later on.

The 8-tailed is so adorable. She quietly follows the bickering duo around, playing and enjoying herself without constantly seeking attention

As for Siyeol, when there’s no tension between his friends (Eunho and 8-tailed) his natural kindness and gentlemanly side can truly shine without him feeling awkward or stuck in the middle.

In the previous episode, they were giving old married couple vibes, but in this one, they’re so parents with a daughter.

“You're the only person in the world on my side. I don't have any friends or family I can rely on. You're all I have” -Siyeol
“If you really died, I'd kill you ” -Eunho

how did eun ho do that trick in amusement park if she is human now didn't she loose all her power?
Do you mean the yellow sphere? that’s the 8-tailed fox bead. Eunho received it in order to build up spiritual power. the goal is to help the 8-tailed fox become a 9-tailed fox, making her strong enough to switch their fates and enable Eunho to return to being a Gumiho (Ep.6 48:32)

EP.5 : I'm enjoying this drama more and more with each episode. The locations, elements, and color grading in this episode have really leveled up the visuals, though the transitions are still a bit choppy in several scenes.

Hyeyoon's performance showed a wide range of emotions within seconds... sadness, happiness, confusion, disappointment, resentment, sarcasm, and fury all on a face streaked with continuously flowing tears. From what I observed, this is a one-take scene. with the editing only switching between different camera angles.

But we might need to wait and see the BTS footage of this scene to be certain. Either way, the result is that Hyeyoon successfully made me feel Eunho’s emotions before I fully understood what was actually going on in that scene.
And in the scene where Eunho unleashes her fury on the deities, an emotional monologue, she delivered it without any cringe.

- Eunho : I’d give Kim Oksoon 9 points🪄 for not giving up on her own desires and remaining firm in her belief not to trust humans, despite how well Siyeol treated her.

- Palmiho or 8-tailed : I almost complained about her acting. I had doubts, like Seriously? Why do we have to get this innocence and cuteness after Eunho’s intense emotional scene???
But when I get the script intended for her to be a different Geumho from the one Eunho knew and wasn't even experienced enough to be a proper 9-tailed. It all made sense. The childlike portrayal was intentional to show the contrast with Geumho's past.

- Siyeol : He’s such a silly man without his global soccer star status. I hope I get to see his coolest side as a 4th division player soon. For now, it's not a bad chance for him to take a break from his strict discipline.

- Wooseok : The writer is gradually infusing him with so much greed that I can hardly recognize him as Siyeol's BFF anymore. But to intensify the story, I guess using Wooseok character to reflect how limitless human greed is a good move.

9 years ago, they only met 4-5 times. Now, it’s only been about 8 days since their reunion (5 of which were spent stuck in the same situation). But their chemistry is already like that of a long-married couple!! They couldn't stop bickering, but their actions showed small signs of consideration. Even though Siyeol claimed it was just manners, Eunho teased him by pretending not to notice.

Especially since Siyeol always ends up giving in to whatever Eunho says. He’s like a husband living by the 'happy wife, happy life' rule.
(This bro is completely whipped! 🤦‍♀️)

The fact Oksoon’s ID has the same address as Siyeol’s... It was all predetermined.. 🤯

This episode is exactly what I want in a fantasy rom-com!! Unpredictable plots, lead characters' interactions (whether it be love or hate), casual funny moments that make me laugh out loud, and emotional scenes that bring me to tears.

The previous episodes really paid off. The storytelling allowed me to fully grasp the connections between all the characters, feel the emotional weight of their life change, and dive deep into Eunho and Geumho’s complex bond. If these moments had been just a fleeting scene, I don’t think it would have hit me this hard.

Siyeol hung up the phone once he realized they were trying to lure Eunho into a trap to kill her.
Eunho apologized because she felt responsible for getting Siyeol dragged into danger.
It’s proof that they’re not cold-hearted!!!

i like this ...but just my opinion ...I feel like they should have released all episodes just like can this love…
It was produced by SBS, a national broadcaster, so it must follow a scheduled television broadcast before it can be released on Netflix. The drama you mentioned are Netflix-original OTT content, which allows all episodes to be released at once without having to wait for a TV broadcast.

The strong relationship between Siyeol and Wooseok is shaken by a wish granted by Eunho. This part really highlights…
P.S. I’m not surprised at all if casual viewers say they don't have chemistry now. They've had so few scenes together. Without watching their interviews and promotional content, I might be thinking the same thing right now.

The strong relationship between Siyeol and Wooseok is shaken by a wish granted by Eunho. This part really highlights the fragility of the human mind. Even though they’ve always had each other’s backs and meant nothing but the best for one another
But when you finally get a taste of the life you dreamed of, pulling away isn't that easy. It’s like when you're having such a beautiful dream that even after waking up, you force your eyes shut just to keep it going. Wooseok is probably like that... he just wanted to stay in that moment a little bit longer.

Eunho isn't mean to Siyeol for no reason. While she might not be respectful to everyone, she doesn't just go around messing with people's fate either. She even maintains good partnerships with her long-term client. This time it was Siyeol's own arrogance that led him to disrespect the wrong entity, so she tamed him.
She doesn't take lives, but she is still not a normal person that you can play with, Siyeol!!
-I guess the author made Siyeol a narcissist because if he were just a typical good boy, the plot wouldn’t be this chaotic 😅

I still didn't get enough of them in this episode again. I don't mind at all if Eunho and Siyeol hate each other or aren't in love yet, but we only got 4.5 scenes of them together... At least the chaos and chemistry I’ve been waiting for aren't that far off now. Ep.4 is definitely going to be my happy place!!

If we believe that everything is destined to happen from the beginning, then how Eunho exchanged their lives was…
Ep. 1
38:21 – Eunho’s future vision flashed between Siyeol and Wooseok. The images seemed to be overlapping, but Eunho said she had seen Wooseok’s fate.
57:50 – Eunho’s vision was focused only on Siyeol’s destiny at the hospital.

If we believe that everything is destined to happen from the beginning, then how Eunho exchanged their lives was…
That explains why they edited Eunho’s first vision scene to flash between Siyeol and Wooseok. It’s as if she saw a blurred vision of both their futures because their figures overlapped as they passed in front of her. But since she was focused only on Siyeol at the hospital, it was clearly just his future she saw then? Thanks for another perspective! 🫶🏻

Really? Lol I thought it was the butterfly effect, you know? I thought if that rich guy wasn’t drunk driving,…
I’ve seen some ppl on other platforms saying Eunho just misread the situation and that it was Siyeol's destiny all along. So, I wanted to share my thoughts here in case anyone else is looking into this. But yeah, the Butterfly Effect is what I’m referring to~
