NOOOOO YOU SPOILED IT FOR ME 😭 He died in MLC too...I was just introduced to this actor, he is always suffering...
Shhhhhhhhh you're ruining the tragic masochist mood 😔😏
Hahahah I am actually an undercover sadist, the more suffering and tragedy the ML goes through the more enamored I am. I blame Hu Ge and Mo Dao Zu Shi for making me like this
Damn... this was soooooo me! So i skipped to Episode 11 and started watching from there. I did the same thing for other dramas I grew to live, Like Love Like the Galaxy and The Untamed. You can always go back and rewatch from the beginning if you grow to like it. Then again, you still might not, and that's completely ok
It is easily a 8.5, I would even say it deserves 8.8 MDL rating wise. But the kids downvote it because its not…
Huh? No offense, but blaming Netflix is so...random. I'm pretty neutral on this but even as a bystander, it's clear to see. If we're considering the lower ratings, comments, and lower reviews I took into account to make my argument, many MyDramalist viewers, if anything, are more adverse to Netflix and what it's doing to the Korean Entertainment sector for the International audience. Debateably, ever since Squid Game, Netflix - and in turn many Korean productions - have gone out of their way to go the more gritty, darker route. Much more so than they ever have before, and even when Kdramas did go far it was still tied in to a romantic and cheesy concept, or just relegated to political dramas and maekjangs. Blaming Netflix is so...random. More honestly, Korean dramas from 2016-18 like Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, What's Wrong with Secretary Kim, and Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo were what brought the new huge wave of popularity from Intl. fans, (though even before that it was the Hallyu Era of Entertainment in Asia) typically from women who were tired of Western shows and their excessive dark/sexual themes, even in romance. And alot of those watchers, as well as older ones, have populated on this site, even before Netflix was inclined enough to start grabbing and streaming Korean shows by the pop. I'm not sure why you're blaming the Netflix streaming service when just scrolling down this comment section, the disgruntled fans and why they're annoyed are clear to see. Ironically, Netflix is the one bringing a mixed bag of watchers who can tolerate the extremely dark, extremely cheesy, and everything in between. The reason for this show's low rating here, is alot of the watchers on MDL and their demographic. It's not hard to understand in my opinion. I don't know why this fact is being resisted, it's been known since the early days of this site. Now there are new waves of fans who are liking the darker grittier themes being presented and going out of their way to demean fluffy or cheesy cliche dramas. But that wave of people didn't seem to get to 'Mask Girl' in time and counter review.
