By 'fulfilling' I mean the protagonist being able to go through with her revenge on society and in the end be able to come out unscathed (not going to jail. watching her abusers suffer, living to see their downfall, being able to fall in love) These are all things The Glory and Celebrity gave to the audience. Meanwhile Mask Girl went for a darker and more realistic ending for the average person, Many people were not in the mood or frame of mind to accept that. But being unable to accept something, does not always mean it is bad. Annoying, but not hard to understand considering the demographic of this site.

That would be nonsensical as a a reason because the actor you're referring to has done even darker/more adult scenes in D.P and Love and Leashes.

It's more so that they wanted a Celebrity/The Glory type of fulfilling drama and were annoyed this drama went the darker more drastic route. Still irresponsible regardless, especially considering the important themes conveyed here.

Anyway, I am enjoying this mature budding friendship to romance, it's just my style! The ML is attractively flirtatious and the FL is chic and cold, but in a sincerely sassy and endearing way. I have been stuck in wuxia/mystery drama land for a while but well-done corporate romances are never a bore. This gives me Jdrama vibes
