crying myself to sleep right now this drama was so good. watched it for shin hye sun and became an inspirit midway through the show because of kim myung soo. yall if I ask yiu who the best k-actress is and you don't say the name shin hye sun, I instantly do t trust you. her acting literally felt like she was actually the charachter herself like those crying scenes and especially that scene in the last episode where she says she feels so empty, shin hye sun emulated that feeling so well its genuinely crazy. 10/10 drama and I ABSOLUTELY recommend this drama to everyone! Ps. L really is *the* visual of 2nd gen

I caught that too! it was a very specific drama to reference😂 could've referenced Crashlanding on you instead as the as seo jihye was a special guest and son yejin worked with him on SITR. the line could've still worked

no gain no love is an enemies to lovers marriage of convenience trope which is bound to be exciting and intriguing from the get go. whereas this is a slow burn childhood friends to lovers. seeing as they are more hesitant to ruin their friendship by confessing, it's gonna take some time but it's worth it. I love these 2 shows but in all honesty just because they're being aired at the same time, doesn't mean they're comparable:)

the fact that she enjoys cooking was already established when she said she had a cooking youtube channel in the first few episodes, she also had a scene dedicated to showing her skills as a cook before this episode. And when her parents wouldn't let her help out in the kitchen, the camera lingered on her disappointed face for a long time. I agree with the other commenter, for a fan of this show, you sure missed a lot.

hesitant to watch this but the clips I've seen of eps 1 and 2 has me deadd! shin min ah never disappoints so this and love next door will be my new obsessions for the next 2 months
