ofc there are many great organisations that help to combat starvation and poverty all across Africa. They are doing a great job. I understand everything you've said but you have to realise that in these kdrama scenes, it's not like they act out the scene then send money to charity.If they did that and used they're global presence in a good way then no one would complain and we would all applaud. But they're not doing that. They uses these scenes and it's so so unnecessary. And at the same time they're not promoting any charities or shedding light on the situation in a good way. Instead they use them for sympathy points or in the case of this drama, they use it to make the main lead look like a hero. again, I am not saying there is no problems in Africa, ofc I know there is. I'm from there. Instead I am pointing out they're very manipulative ways. Korea is not secluded, they have the internet, the very fact that they say 'africa' like it's one country and not many countries with different cultures and languages should make u realise their intentions are not good. They have the recources to travel to any country in Africa but no. The kdrama writers pull out the 'aprica' card whenever they wanna show a charachter as moral or absolve them of any guilt. like I'm this drama.

by 'leave us alone' I'm saying they need to stop mentioning africa as some poor 'country' that constantly need help because everyone is somehow poor and dirty. it's a very harmful stereotype. Yes I know some parts need help but not as many as people who have never been to Africa think. And no I never said I speak for all of Africa but if you've watched as many kdramas as I have, you'd know it's a very big problem when they constantly see us as uncivilised animals in need of help from 'saviours' like them.
If anyone is on the fence about watching this, I hope that convinced you. Season 2 needed to be announced as soon as episode 1 aired. charachters were top notch, drama was top notch, action was out of this world. This year is looking great now if this and love scout was just the beginning 🙂↕️

bear in mind I haven't read the webtoon so this is just from watching the drama, in the beginning of eps 6 they didn't show the face of pi han wuls dad. another charachter they're hiding is the uncle/trainer that taught the ml all the forbidden moves... I'm guessing pi han wuls dad and the trainer are the same person. That's just a theory. also because of the ending of this episode, I'm guessing the ml won't win but he'll be very close so that they fight in the last episode? idk tho but to anyone who read the webtoon: PLEASE DONT SPOIL FOR ME!

I understand where ur coming from. he really did take it hard when he found out and he may also be in despair because he feels guilty to have taken away her father. if that's the case then next episode they can both come to realise that A. he doesn't need to feel guilty cause it wasn't his fault and B. she needs to realise it wasn't his fault and that her dad made a decision and so it's unfair to eunho if she holds that against him. I think she will not forget but she will move past and realise they can live a happy life and that they found eachother because of her father.
whatever happens next episode, I know they will have a happy ending because if they got this 'trope' right ( the argument not lasting several episodes but instead they are honest with eachothrr) then their honesty will definitely carry on until her eunho and byeol become a happy family - a happy family that they both did not get to have.
