I understand your point but it’s too biased against the ML. Of course it’s never good to oppress his subordinate but considering that he was kinda played, it’s understandable that he acts that way. And to be fair, he did ask her to resign. She was just adamant.
Personally, what I find disturbing with the drama that makes it hard to watch is the fact that they established her character as some sort of a “cheating wife”. We know she’s in a bad situation but it doesn’t sit right with me how she has to throw away her dignity and on top of that lie.
I hate the whole cheating misunderstanding so much. As a viewer, I find this so dumb, unnecessary and frustrating!…
I agree. If they wanted to use the misunderstanding trope, I just hoped they didn’t put it out like she’s a cheating wife. Other kind of misunderstanding would’ve been better. This hurts to watch coz even though we know that FL is in a slump, doing this job is putting down her dignity.
Finally! A Kdrama that made me hit my pillows again. Episode 1 is such a blast. Episode 2 established the complexity of their characters. I really hoped she’d back out of the interview after seeing him as the interviewer but of course she didn’t. Hoping the misunderstanding gets resolved soon.
How the heck did Situ Ling become so sure that Ming Xian was Ming Yi? Just coz of her archery stance? Like he didn’t even question himself. He was so sure right away. Somebody make it make sense lol
Thank you for your elaborate review! Will continue watching this specially after saying that there was no unecessary slaughter of supporting characters. I’m still scarred from Prisoner of Beauty 🙂😂
bruh kllng the crown princess was so unecessary. if they really wanted to they could’ve given a more reasonable explanation not just kll her out of the blue
4 episodes for a cooking contest that could’ve been a montage…😭 I AM BORED. The reason I liked the show…
I beg to disagree. That competition really highlights the theme of this series. Plus some politics were thrown here and there so it was very interesting imo.
This and The Winning Try + Love Untangled has finally broken my kdrama slump!! Now coming back to this, Lee Chae…
Glad to see that I’m not the only one who was on a kdrama slump. I eventually found myself watching more cdramas coz the kdramas were not hitting as hard as before.
