Also the last part of the show was the worst. Why would they put a big funeral for the guy who not only abused…
Remember Geum Ju's father comment ; Funerals are actually for the living, not for the dead. So if the funeral is big, it's for Ui Jun and not for his father. On the other side, in Eastern Asia, it's impossible to don't organize funeral for a mother or a father, whatever they may have done. It is the duty of children
guys, link eat love kill is one of my favorite dramas and seeing the edits of this drama on tiktok kinda reminded…
You can't compare these 2 dramas. Link is 70% thriller and 30% romance. TY is full romance. In my opinion, Link is one of the best Kdrama I've ever watched with great actors and a wonderful OST.
MDL ratings suddently went from 8.5 to 8.8🥹♥️ so happy its reaching actually what it deserves
Many people wait for the end of the last episode to rate the drama. So, for me, it's not a surprise. I don't understand how is it possible to rate a drama before the end, except people who doesn't like the drama and stop watching it. I prefer to rate each episode, before to give a global rate.
I was praying for this to become another like Goblin, My Demon 😭 I'm greedy
I think that you can't compare Way Back Love to My Demon. It's the same thing than compare Miami and Boston. My Demon is in a main part a comedy, and it was the choice of the production and the writers to work in this way.
Way Back Love is a drama based on the wounds healing. In this way, you could compare it to California Motel, If You Wish Upon Me, Death's Game, etc.
This drama was really good . Hyung Sik acting was top tier . I'm really sad that Seonu kill Taeyun at the end…
Did Seon-U really kill Taeyun ? We saw only the "Push", but no image of the fall (just an image of a bag falling in an armchair), no dead body, no comment on his "death", no funeral ceremony. And in the end, his mother seems to be in a hospital : was it for her or for Taeyun ? All of that could prepare a season 2
It's not about whether ml will forgive her or not. She thought the problem was that her family would suffer if…
I respect your opinion which is understandable. But, if you think that the conflict was strong enough, then, nothing can justify the end of this conflict and the ending of this drama.
‘Been wondering whether kdrama haters are actually out to ruin the industry. I got so traumatized by haters…
I'm starting to ask myself the same questions. I'm sure of one thing: I've never seen a trail of hate on a kdrama (strange, isn't it?). Which makes me wonder about the real motivation of these haters. By spreading this persistent hatred, it will generate a natural reflex of rejection for most creations, as long as they don't fully correspond to the fans' wishes. This could quickly ruin the incredible power of the kdrama industry, but perhaps that's an underlying goal. For my part, I loved WTSG for its technical prowess, the OST, the actors, and the lesson of love amplified by a fitting ending.
How can we explain that "When the Phone Rings" was praised for the first 10 episodes before being despised for the last two? Because the ending didn't correspond to the fans' wishes? At first, I thought it was due to passion and a relative disappointment in that passion, but now I'm having more and more doubts.
I think I'm going to decide to no longer read MDL's comments, and even the reviews, unless MDL can offer a filter for ratings. I'll limit myself to the discussions, which are by far the most interesting and positive exchanges.
What kind of consequences do you think he should face? He never used any illegal means to achieve his goals, so…
When a majority shareholder in a board of directors agrees to validate an important financial decision for the group, he incurs liability. In the case of the sale of PeopleZ, he is an accomplice (perhaps unintentionally??) in a scam, and he makes the entire board of directors an accomplice in this scam. Then, the other members of the board of directors can ask him for compensation
I am so glad they gave so much screentime to 2nd leads.Although I wanted to have Byeol call FL mom, but I guess…
Regarding the 2nd leads, I regret the too short time of their established relationship. No kiss at all. Regarding Beyol, I would have liked to see the relationship between her and Ji-Yun evolve, because the initial relationship was already exceptional.
I thought it was a mostly pleasant drama that won't stay with me. But I didn't like how they handled the Peoplez…
I agree. I am bothered by Kang Ji Yun's choice. She knows that she will cooperate with the investigators and that the results will necessarily have negative consequences on Career Way. Career Way is responsible for Kim Hye Jin's actions and must assume responsibility. Career Way will find itself in the same situation as PeopleZ (investment fraud) with the same consequences on the relationship with its customers. So, I do not understand how she can say that she is protecting her employees by sending them to an even worse situation. Even for me, I think that justice will end up concluding that the acquisition of PeopleZ was illegal, may demand the cancellation of the sale and the obligation to repair the damage suffered by PeopleZ and its shareholders. Even Woo Chul-Yong could be prosecuted for his role in the sale of PeopleZ. I really regret that the drama does not have more on this point (Kim Hye Jin's fall and the consequences on Career Way)
I really liked this drama. Il liked the way he always tries to get back his lover, despite his CEO/mother's mind and his lover's pragmatism. No stupid plots, no real love triangle. Even if it's one more cinderella's story, it's a credible story with honnest characters. The age gap is, in my oipinion, not a problem, because her bad childhood which made her so much mature and gave her a strong character.
Rewatching this a second time, I appreciate a little more, but I'm unsatisfied with the end. I have the feelings that Hye-Seong feels guilty when she considers that she could be married, letting her sister in sadness. Why did she wait for more than one year to tell to her sister her mom's feelings ? It's cruel. And what's this rushed ending : after at least 30 minutes talking about why they have to breakup, we have 5 seconds to understand how they back together I have exactly the same feelings with the drama "Clean with passion", with 10 last seconds ending
Yeah, I'm confused why the original kang Bitna ended up in hell if she didn't murder someone??
As we got in other episodes, the demons Bael is able to repare somme errors, and we supposed that she had been redirected toward heaven, or less, knowing she has perhaps accepted some arrangements with politics. But Bael can't resurrect her because she was really stabbed.
I agree. The show started great but left me wanting more of… anything? something? We’d be taken in one direction…
I agree, but if you exceed a forecast budget, reality forces you to reduce the numbers of actors, to cancel any marriage scenes, etc.. There are so many dramas with this profile. It could be too, a mean to increase profitability. For the Kdramas, I think to Buniness Proposal (without grand father and friends), Doctor Slump (without family), The Beauty Inside (wedding with nobody) , Welcome to Samdal-ri, While you were sleeping (marriage photographes only), etc.....

In my opinion this kind of endings could be explained by the directors's management. It could a problem of time management with directors unable to keep enough time to the endings. It could be too a problem of budget management, with a lack of funds at the end of the project, preventing to have all the actors for the ending scenes, or to make longer endings.
I would like to know if it's possible to get original scripts of kdrama, to understand who is responsible of so many rushed endings. I don't imagine that so many writers could produce these after writing stories for weeks and weeks
