How come ji chang wook is listed as a main character when he plays king Gogukcheong. Doesn't he die early according…
It's supposed to be only 8 episodes and centred on the 24 hours following King Gogukcheon's death, so there should be a lot of scenes involving the character before he dies and also probably as flashbacks.

Trivia regarding King Gogukcheon virtueous representation in Korean History:
From the "Samguk Sagi" ("History of the Three Kingdoms", an historical record of Goguryeo, Baekje and Silla, which is the primary source for the events at that time), in Volume 17, Goguryeo's Book 5.

"In the autumn of the 8th year of King Dongcheon (Year 234), Empress Dowager Woo passed away. On her deathbed, the Empress Dowager made the following will: “Since I didn’t behave properly during my life, how can I look at Kukyang (國壤, King Gogukcheon) from the underworld? If my servants cannot bear to dispose of my body in a ditch or a pit, please bury me next to the tomb of King Sansang.” Soon after, it was done according to the Empress Dowager's will.
After that, a shaman said: “Kukyang (國壤, King Gogukcheon) came down to me and said: ‘Seeing that Lady Woo went to King Sansang yesterday, I couldn't contain my resentment, so I ultimately fought with Lady Woo. When I came back and thought about it, no matter how thick my face was, I couldn't bear to face the people of the country anymore. You inform the Court so that my grave is covered from people's vision.’” For this reason, pine trees were planted in seven layers around King Kukyang's tomb by his nephew King Dongcheon."

Yes, Ji Chang Wook plays her first husband whose death triggered the whole succession dispute in the first place.Kang…
"Then when they didn‘t have children he cheated and brought in another woman who gave birth to his successior."
King Sansang didn't "cheated". It was obvious for the king to have multiple relationships at that time. Succession, and having an heir, was the first goal for queens and consorts.

After reading up what I could find on her and watching a 45 minutes documentary on YouTube on her I wonder how…
It's an adaptation so they will take liberties. Especially with the way they want to portrait the Queen it seems. And also because it's a very ancient period, so we have only few sources, and not a single one that we can be sure of as the "Samguk Sagi", the main one, was written long after all that happened.

As much as I like Im Si Wan or other actors who take this kind of characters, it's becoming ridiculous for me that they keep taking actors who are sometimes 10/15 years over the role they have to play. It's not even about the way they look. Sure, most of the time they look younger than their age, but still, they don't really look like real high schoolers, despite Korea having a lot of talented young actors who could play the role perfectly. And because we know these actors for more than ten years now and they are much older than the character they play, I personally found it very disturbing, it doesn't work at all for me.
Some people might like or defend that, but in the end, it's only a marketing thing because these renowned actors are much more appealing than newbies. It's sad.

I hate Korean dramas on Disney+. They never release them in the US. Why does Disney+ suck so bad? Can someone…
I'm sorry for you, but as many countries do have the Korean dramas releases, that's totally the contrary of "NO ONE". Yes, Disney+ is from the USA, but the USA are not the whole world. ;)
In France and UK they released the Korean dramas simultaneously with Korea so far (except the first one, "Snowdrop", a little bit later) so I'm quite happy with it.
And they do have good quality Korean dramas on Disney+, I hope it will continue like this and with more dramas as time passes.

On Love Class Season 2 Aug 4, 2023
This seems to be a totally different story than "Love Class", with totally new actors, so I don't see why it's a season 2. The cast credits here are really not relevant.

I'm still very excited by the project, of course. With such cast and this historical setting it can't be helped. However, I'm a little bit afraid about the way they will represent that historic event, because according the statements of the production team, it seems they want to make Queen Woo a virtuous heroine, when the real historical one was actually just as greedy for power as the others she fought to stay in her queen position.
We will have to wait (a lot) to judge when it's airing (trailers will give hints too when time comes), but I'd prefer a ruthless queen who want to keep power against ruthless contestants and enemies too, than a idealised representation of Queen Woo.
And I'm happy about Jung Jae Kwang playing Prince Go Gye Soo and Kang Young Seok as Prince Go Yeon Woo (futur King Sansang), he was very good in "Insider".

I really hope to see jcw more in the drama even though he is going to die in this drama but still they should…
As the plot is centred on the power struggle after King Gogukcheon death, I doubt that. However, he is still playing one of the main roles, so they will probably show a lot of flashbacks with the king in it, otherwise it would have been a support role.

See full cast list there is the answer of your question
King Sansang (former Prince Go Yeon Woo who will be played by Kang Young Seok in the drama) was King Gogukcheon younger brother too, not his older brother.
However, considering the format of the drama, they will only focus on the quick power struggle after King Gogukcheon death, not the full story. But considering the place future King Sansang had in it, it's actually strange that the role seems secondary here.
It's an adaptation of the story after all, so they will not stick to the History, which is quite ancient, and we don't have sure facts neither, so there will be a large part of imagination and creation for the drama.

on these websites the webtoon is called the Hooligans thats why they prolly accepted it https://www.mangaupdates.com/series/k23a0ot/the-hooligansand…
Yes probably, however I never found this translation to be used or indicated on any Korean website, so it's not official. It will changed once the English title for the drama is announced officially.

There is absolutely nowhere a source that says that the English title for this drama will be "The Hooligans". So on what base that edit has been made and accepted ?
