Biggest joke of today: Kim Gyu Vin receiving all stars. Seriously, he isn't talented enough to be part of the final group. People should stop being biased by look or personality when it comes to this kind of shows. Objectively, he has just average skills as an idol.

Oh my, I regret to have started this drama so much now... These characters are totally illogical and stupid, and the acting is really not the best, so it doesn't even balance the crappy story. And the bland kisses will kill me before the end if it keeps going on like this. Seriously, what's the purpose of the story ? Free love ? Free sex life ? That's really not well portrayed and made if that's the case.
I wish I could just forget about it but I'm the kind of people who watch till the end when they start something, even when it's totally stupid like this one.

Well, they lost me with episodes 3 and 4. Too bad, it's disappointing.
Suddenly things keep happening with no real logic, and moods change like nothing happened before with no reason. It's like looking a totally different story from episodes 1 and 2. Very weird. And they went too far with the annoying and irritating secondary characters for me.
It's not totally bad but I didn't enjoyed these episodes as much as the first ones.

This drama is wonderful.
For me episode 13 was perfect. Han Dong Jin is seriously one of the best characters I have seen, the world needs more people like him. ^^ He is so well portrayed by Kim Young Kwang.
I was surprised he just left like that in episode 14, but it makes sense in the end, and the rest of the episode was good. I really look forward to the last episodes next week.
Roy Kim’s song, « Flower », is really beautiful and perfect for this drama.

So, I made a post back when this was premiering in Korea, and indeed after all the movie was 118 minutes in which…
Totally agree with you. While watching the first two episodes it never occurred to me that Ji Hyun was the one drowning, as all the references to Jae Won's little brother death and his probable trauma from this event were very clear for me. We will see in the future but I don't buy at all the crazy theories here. And I have read a lot of comments of Koreans who have watched the movie on websites and blogs (through Naver): not a single one mentioned the death of Ji Hyun, or even a sad ending, on the contrary, most of them commented how sweet the romance was between them and the chemistry between both actors top-notched.

Actually, The Eighth Sense has *two* directors, and they were also responsible for writing the entire story together.…
Thank you ! I hope many people here will see your comment. Tired of lazy people here constantly repeating the same things, when Inu Baek was the first name that appeared as director for this show, along with Du Plessis.

Didn’t it already air in Korea tho? I think they know what they’re talking about 😭
Nope, not everyone. ;) I wrote several time that personally I also feel that it is just assumption from some people here (and their brains are going kind of crazy...). While watching the show, everything they pointed out were references to Jae Won's little brother for me. Before reading the comments here I never thought that it will have a sad ending. I don't understand from where all that comes from.
But I'm fine with both potential ends actually, as I like sad romance stories. I don't understand people that judge or change their judgement based on the ending of a story only. If you like everything before, it means it's a good show. Of course the ending can be disappointing, but it doesn't erase everything felt before while watching.

On Duty after School: Part 1 Apr 1, 2023
When "Alien" meets "Battle Royal". The intrigue has a lot of potential but the execution isn't the best I think. Too many caricatural (and stupid) characters I think. And the cast here needs to be reviewed, main and support roles aren't well distributed.

My expectations were low but the first episode was actually good. BONA's character, I can already guess, I will…
Yes he did, and yes, from the first episode, it seems that he is what you described as a "morally gray character", with, of course, all the justifications given to excuse is bad behaviours (happy ending for the trial, death of his mother, and probably more).

What kind of sageuk are we flooded with in recent times?
Exactly what I wrote, sageuk that mix everything (mainly rom-com, with heavy comedic and dramatic parts), but in a very unbalanced way, at least for me. And all with very similar settings, tropes and clichés. Some are better than others, and thank God there are still other sageuk with more serious and interesting stories, but since few years now it's mainly these mildly interesting sageuk, with few exceptions.

Well, unfortunately it's again the same kind of sageuk that we are flooded with since recent times... mixing everything, but very unbalanced, and for me, that really doesn't make it. I'd have prefer a totally comedic sageuk, it would have been different at least, instead of this constant change of registers during the episode (comedic, dramatic, comedic, romantic, dramatic, comedic, etc.). Also, I'm not a fan of the filming of some scenes, many shootings are really weird (too much drones probably).
It's not bad at all though, it's nice to see Do Hwan in this refreshing role, he is flawless, and the acting is good overall. It's also interesting that it is centred on law. It will be a nice rom-com probably, but a very poor sageuk for me.

Title The Eighth Sense Spoiler
He mentioned his little brother at some point and then stopped all of the sudden, he also seems like he has a…
For me that's it, this is the obvious conclusion from what we saw in the first two episodes every time there was a reference to Jae Won's little brother. I don't understand why people just jumped on the conclusion that it will have a sad ending, with Ji Hyun drowning. We never know, the future will tell us. But people are too gloomy, be positive, come on. ^^

what happened???
It's really just speculation from you. All the drowning references correspond to Jae Won's little brother, not Ji Hyung, for me. So there is nothing certain from what you pointed. But we will know when the next episodes are out. ;)

It doesn't make sense for me at all though. I don't see or understand what makes people have such prevision for the ending.

Noooooo I didn't know that... It's that one trope that I avoid the most, I can tolerate much but this thing is…
Yes, I'm sure it still worth it for Do Hwan. ;) He will show a good side of his talents with this role. His character seems interesting.
Hopefully Bona's character cross-dressing is a minor part of the show and don't ruin the story. Otherwise I'll be so disappointed, especially because it's Do Hwan's comeback drama after his military service (I really wished his other drama aired first...).

Wouah, finally, not just few minutes that always feel too short but we got a proper, normal-like drama centred on a male romance. So refreshing and so nice !
