Well, they sure seem close even after all this months, which is nice, but nothing official regarding their relationship status yet. They might have just become good friends.

I'm not very fond of the actors (they are good though) and the characters honestly, but still, it's a good and refreshing drama and I like that it's a BL with a real relationship since the start. Also, the bluntness it has regarding the physical desires compared to the usual Japanese BLs is interesting. It feels more realistic.

I don't agree, it can also be interesting without heavy sexual references. Heterosexual or homosexual, it doesn't matter. Sex is a part of relationships (not for everybody actually), but there are far more in relationships than that.
As for the "everyone", I was quoting you. Not all 7 other men where focused on Chang Min, there were other interests and bonds too.

Euh... no. Not "everyone" was focus on Chang Min even though it is true that he was the star of the show for the obvious reasons you mentioned. But more importantly, because it's about homosexuals it has to be sexual ? What a bad cliché, and such a degrading way to view people based on their sexuality only, not as human beings. You can just watch porn for that.

What a disappointment. An episode for (almost) nothing.
As I was thinking last week, half of the episode is focus on secondary characters this week. I like the character of Sakurako, and Asuka a lot too, he is very cute and deserves his own drama. But we have gone nowhere with Akira and Shin, and next episode preview doesn't seems to show a lot of progress either so we are good for them being together only in the last episode.
That's really a shame, it could have been better. It's only getting frustrating. Like every time Akira finally want to settle things with Sakuma-sensei there is something happening (it's not even funny after all this time), and he can't just take 30 seconds to just clear Shin's delusions about him still liking Sakuma-sensei. How stupid is that ? The actors are really great but the story is really losing his charm of the first episodes unfortunately.

I understand and agree with you actually. And I believe it could have really been different with a longer format. Yes, you can create a bond within a week when living with someone, but you can't expect much though. It has to develop after. So that's why I don't think it should be taken too seriously.
Also, you mentioned something important at the end. Jeong Hyun could have (and should have actually) speaks up about the room thing at the camp site if he really didn't want to miss the chance to spend more time with him. Blaming Chang Min only doesn't feel right because passiveness is equaly annoying for me. Yes Chang Min seems either genuinely clueless or playing dumb about some of his behaviours, which can be annoying (and it is for me too, I'd have loved to see them share the room for their final night), but if his behaviour is genuine, which I still want to believe, well, the other party is to blame too for not saying anything and just being jealous and disheartened by himself. To me Chang Min just went with the flow because he wanted to surf, he didn't really choose Hyeon, he just followed. I don't think his potential feelings must be doubted based on that, he was pretty honest and straightforward with Jeong Hyun before so the latter should put some faith in it too. There is no perfection here, just two people with their personalities and flaws.

Yes, that's summarise it. The idea of the show is good but it would have been better with a budget allowing a one month shooting. With a week, nothing serious or "real" can be expected.

Well, I don't personally know him but just to share my thoughts on him, from all he said and showed on social medias over the last years, Chang Min likes receiving attention for sure (I mean, anybody doing a reality show or being very active on social medias is, no ?). He definitely don't have any problem to find boyfriends, or friends with benefits, and knows how to use his alluring personality and physique. But I also think he doesn't have bad intentions and really don't see what's wrong in some of his actions than can be seen as insensitive by others. He has an innocent side too and is quite honest and straightforward when asked a question, but he is also a free soul that don't like obsessiveness. The show was just a week so I don't think him or any participant expected a real relationship out of it. Jeong Hyun is cute and they'd make a nice couple (it would actually be nice if they have genuinely developed a real relationship after the show), but to me he doesn't really seem the ideal type Chang Min described many times in the past (he likes cute younger men but not feminine ones, which Jeong Hyun seems to be a little bit, even by Korean standards). I don't think the show is scripted but it's a show, it shouldn't be taken too seriously, they are mostly doing it to gain popularity and opportunities, not really to find love I believe. ^^

Some comments are funny. ^^ Why take this show so seriously ? It's a dating reality show, it may be not staged but it's definitely not 100% authentic neither, the participants kind of act a bit. They only spent a week together, you can't expect real relationship from just that. Maybe after the show, if some of them met again (I think it was shoot around April), but it must be watch like a divertissement, not something serious. Chang Min was on a straight dating show in 2017 just because he wanted to appear on Mnet for example. It's just like "Single’s Inferno", it's a good way for them to gain some popularity and new opportunities but I doubt they really look for a serious relationship thanks to this show.

Chang Min is actually really considered handsome in Korea, either for men or women. He is tall, have a slim body, not very muscular but still athletic and with good proportions. His face has soft traits, charming eyes and thick lips. A fair skin. And a "quiet" personality which gives him a lot of charm too. And Chang Win was the most popular participant even before the show thanks to his social medias activities. He "officially" came out in 2020 through a live streaming Korean platform with a famous gay YouTube, and he was also famous for working in a waxing shop near Seoul University (I was actually surprised to see in the show that he owns a restaurant now). And actually, it's obvious (from his past activities more than the show) that he is the type to play innocent (I think he is not clueless but instead very sharp to notice things), like he knows his power of seduction and the benefits he can get but still keep a modest facade and pretend he don't understand the situation sometimes, something than is also appreciated in Korea. So yes, no surprise he is the "star" of the show.

Well, if you're watching this kind of Korean dramas you should try to at least understand the Korean culture and Korean history. You may not like it, that's up to you, but your comment is quite disrespectful and just show you're clueless about how family and elders/younger people relationships work in Korea.

No, ratings are given by people depending on their tastes and feelings towards a movie or a TV series (most people rate based on emotions, not objective critical reasons), and the audience isn't objectively representative of all the population. That's totally different than the real cinematographic quality of a project and of the performances of the actors.
To take just one of your example, "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim" is one of my 10 stars dramas, I have many reasons for liking this drama this much and gave it a 10 out of 10 here. However, his cinematographic value is objectively quite poor : just a basic office romance comedy with predictable twists. So ratings aren't automatically related to quality.
As for your last sentence, I totally disagree. I personally never choose to watch something based on reviews and ratings, so once again, don't generalize something that you think. It's your opinion, and I respect that, but think of the way you write your comments. That's not difficult to write "I think", "I feel", "I believe", etc. but it makes a great difference on how others understand your comments.

You don't like it, that's different. Don't write your comment like it's a fact or a general truth, because it's not. Lots of people have like these dramas. And ratings aren't a proof of quality either, it just indicate the popularity of a show, which is quite different. So please write your comments expressing your opinion and feelings, not like your are stating the truth.

I can't wait to see what cast will play this. And I really wonder how they will adapt it, regarding all the inner thoughts in the manhwa, as it is an important part of the development of the original story.

Well, it's still good, but I think it's taking a road I'm not fond of unfortunately. More and more romance moments (which could have been put off for this story I think), and too much "hard" comedy for my taste (I expected something more sad, even a little bit depressing, but in a good way). I like the core message of the drama and most of the acting, but I think the production will be too much like dramas these days that try to blend everyhting together (romance, comedy, serious social subjects, mystery, morals, etc.). I don't like that. :/

Fore sure, and that's interesting too for a character portrayal actually. Like I wrote, I saw it coming, but I expected something else, I was hoping they would do something different, at least the way I view it.

Well, unfortunately that's quite disappointing. Yes, we saw it coming, but I was still expecting something surprising and more original from it. Akira's delusions over himself are quite annoying at this point (they make him look like he finally understands his problems but in the end he keeps doing the same...). It would have been much better if he had finally overcome his incapacity to accept his feelings and talk about it. Yes, the bluntness of Shin's character is still good but it feels like a big waste at this point of the story. Even more when we see in the next episode preview that Akira is still at the point where he is struggling to speak to Sakuma sensei and they will maybe focus more on the side stories. I'm s-not sure what to think of it. Still 4 more episodes, which is great, but I have lost a little bit of my fondness for it I believe. I really think that it could have been much better with a brave Akira accepting to date Shin and showing their struggles at this point of the story rather than one more story looking like all the romances where the couple first resist for some "silly" reasons, to end together at the end of the drama.
