Once again, a nice story with good plot, characters and good actors that deserve a full 1 hour 16 episodes or more drama. Ah, so much potential for this kind of nice full length drama in Korea.
Well, with only 6 episodes, I'm wondering how it will go. This kind of story, with a huge gap in the story and unrevealed developments at the first episode, needs certainly more episodes to be well developed. I'm afraid it will be kind of messed up.
Well, bye bye "River Where the Moon Rises". Not going to keep watching a drama with a change of actor, especially for one of the main characters. Too bad. It was not fabulous but the story was interesting, especially the fact that it was set in Goguryeo and not Joseon.
You like it.. great but people who don't like it automatically don't become dumb... calling people with different…
I never wrote that people who don't like it are dumb, of course someone can dislike it, I wrote about the some comments that complain about things that are intrinsic to the series. Like watching a comedy and complaining about too many humour in it. Yes, again, for me it's dumb. Realistic doesn't mean real. And I can assure you, there is many people like him in real life, men or women. Again, of course all people aren't like that, and thanks God, but some are.
People here really didn't get the concept of the drama, the interviews parts, the realistic relationships, etc. Yep, I write it, I think people complaining about the ending, one couple not being together again, and such things in the comments are just dumb because they totally don't understand what this web series is supposed to be. Thankfully it's not representative and it did great. I really really like it. Finally something new and different in drama world, not the usual rom-com. It's fresh and a pleasure to watch, it's aesthetic and realistic, a really nice combo. And stop with season 2, it's not needed. If there is one well nice, but if there is not, good too, if you don't understand why, people probably just need to live and experience more to understand it.
That's actually a really nice plot, and well developed characters, with a touch of comic too. That's really a shame that the episodes are so short. The story could be developed so much more. It's really time for a real BL Korean drama with sixteen one hour long episodes.
Such a nice surprise ! I love the concept of the story. I was a little bit worried about a new romantic role for Ji Chang Wook but he is perfect in this role, way too handsome haha, and Kim Ji Won really sparkle in this role. Can't wait to see more development about side stories too. It's so good that I just wish the episodes were longer. ^^
I can't say it was great, but it wasn't that bad either, even if the development of the story was indeed disappointing…
Well, I do agree with you, especially about the chemistry between the two. This is the worsest point of this drama, with the messing up of the development of the story. I still have more indulgence for this drama than most of the people though, because I also do believe the production was good, with very nice scenes, and the acting individually, except few bad ones, was okay, Ji Chang Wook being good despite the overall low quality (but I'm just too biased haha).
I don't understand the hate towards this drama. I was personally very interested the whole way through and thought…
I can't say it was great, but it wasn't that bad either, even if the development of the story was indeed disappointing after the promising start. I think a lot of people who criticize it are just "haters" unfortunately. People who are fans of other famous Korean actors and just want to make it seems really bad just by "jealousy". I don't say this because I'm biased, as a fanboy of Ji Chang Wook. I searched a lot about the profiles that post negative comments, to try to understand why they write so strong negative comments that are not deserved. And actually, it's always people who rate other "concurrent" actors very high and never praise Ji Chang Wook's works. I understand that they can dislike him, there is many actors and actresses very popular that I don't like, but I just don't watch their dramas and movies.
It's not about people's opinion. Words have a meaning. Being a wife is being a married woman. Being an husband…
I agree, that's the writers choice after all. I didn't looked at all the comments section, just saw this one when rating the first episode, so I didn't notice that people were asking to change that, it's totally useless and actually stupid. But I think it's an interesting subject of discussion.
What's the problem With calling Type " Wifey"? Me a "Girl" I don't have a problem with this Word between a Gay…
It's not about people's opinion. Words have a meaning. Being a wife is being a married woman. Being an husband is being a married man. Who you're married to doesn't matter. Using wife for a man is like using husband for a woman, it's sound weird, and wrong. You call a cat a cat after all, not a dog, because words have meanings. They choose to make Tharn call Type that way, fine, their choice, but it's natural for people to find it wrong or disturbing. I would be very offended if my husband called me wifey. Actually, man or woman it doesn't matter, it's probably weird for many people to call someone in a sweet way using a function or status. But, we must remember their are speaking Thai and so it's different. In many asian languages, using status or fonction to address people is normal and doesn't have the same meaning as for other cultures. But still, he is a man, so wifey sounds wrong. Hubby would just have been much better.
Found this drama by chance and it's definitely one of the bests. There is simply nothing wrong with this drama (that's so rare !). I'm not into "fantasy" things usually but this one is too cute. The actors are perfect and every detail is so good. I just wish the episodes were longer. ^^ It will be the perfect relaxing, tender and romantic time for the next weeks.
finally someone commented on how many homophobic vibes this gives off. If you think gay people are normal u don't…
Well, you obviously don't know Korea and his culture, or Asia in general, or don't want to understand it. What you say is true but this is not a universal truth, and currently in Korea thinking gay people are ordinary people is being open minded. That's the reality, either you like it or not, and it will not change overnight. So no, objectively, or from a South Korean point of view (after all, the first and main public is Korean people), this drama has nothing homophobic, on the contrary.
I really like this drama, and it will probably have a happy ending, but the last four episodes were really disappointing because it's just a bad cliché of a breaking relationship over misunderstandings because of a lack of communication. The scenario was really good but now it became a mess, what a pity.
