I can't believe it, again? for to my shore? I have a bunch of insults for this mm (moral morons) but I am just…
LMAO @moral morons. I try to ignore them but this is too much. Even if Fan Xiao and YSL get a happy ending, they’d still be angry nothing would ever be right enough.
It’s really not that deep. There are plenty of green-flag BLs out there. Go watch those. Alot of Chinese and Japanese BL novels has always been dark, and no one is forcing "fictional ethics task force" to sit through it and then tank ratings. Like know your limits, or write your own green flag stories.
To those of you getting overly emotional about dark romance: check the tags before you watch, especially when it comes to Chinese BL (Chinese BL novels has always leaned dark, this isn’t new) What exactly did you think you were signing up for? Even while we were waiting for To My Shore, people were already warning others—if you couldn’t stand Hua Yong, there was absolutely no way you were going to like Fan Xiao. None. So why the shock now? And honestly, what are you going to do if Tenacious Illness ever gets a movie adaptation?
Reducing ratings because you decided Fan Xiao is a red flag? Please. Get over yourselves. Dark romance is not meant to be comfortable or morally pure. If toxic characters upset you this much, then this genre simply isn’t for you and that’s fine.
But stop policing stories you were warned about and blaming the show for being exactly what it promised to be.
I loved when Suzuki realized he was in love with Sugiki... i loved how clingy Suzuki was when he spoke to Sugiki on the phone to.... some moments of silence between them and then he said "just come back soon" SCREAMING
To My Shore, Heated Rivalry and 10 Dance are now living rent free in my head.
At first, i was so excited when i saw it was over 2 hours long… but at the end, i was like, WHHHHAT!? Two hours is way too short, and their story felt rushedðŸ˜I need to speak to the script writer because WHYYYYY DID THEY DO THISðŸ˜ðŸ˜
That smile and kiss at the end was EVERYTHING! I still can’t get over their chemistry, Ryoma absolutely killed his role, and Keita was just as phenomenal.
