am i ever going to finish this show after watching ep 12? really went 180 over there no? with all the letters that were meant for HJP but now circling in NDS’ POV. yet another promising drama that went down the drain.

this is so on point and i couldn’t have said it better. i feel like SDM and NDS’s love line is more of an infatuation rather than a real one. like they’re in this bubble and NDS’s friends are protecting them at all costs despite being in the wrong. they’ve also been buttering up NDS instead of calling him out for his lies. -_-

i now understand why SDM would pick NDS: he always supports her decisions, whereas HJP is sometimes against it. still, it doesn’t negate the fact that the writers are butchering HJP’s character. idk why i’m still watching this drama honestly, but i guess it’s bc i’m holding to this tiny tiny glint of hope that HJP will have a chance to prove himself for who he truly is the wah halmeoni sees him and not just the “i’m rich and successful and have everything i want” kind of guy as Saha paints him to be.

this episode’s song is my favorite so far! i kept thinking where i heard that song bc it sounded so familiar and then it hit me: i heard it from heartstring!! aaaah ❤️ BUT I MEAN DAMN,,, songhwa’s bass? jeongwon’s drums? ikjun’s voice? junwan’s guitar riffs? seokhyung’s piano? GOD I AM LIVING!!! also, it took 9 episodes before somebody watched them practice! lol

they're just so... awkward for me lol but we'll see how it goes! but if there's one thing Shin PD taught me, it's that we can't get too much attached with ships. see: deoksun-junghwan trash-najung :')

wow this episode just made me more confused than before. i'm starting to think do han joon isn't the murderer? isn't it too soon to let us viewers know who's the real murderer of kim ga young? but a bigger part of me tells me that he is. sad. i didn't want dong ha's role to be yet another murderer. and yoo myung hee! gosh, i never really trusted her from the get go. i feel icky whenever she appears. and i think she's the one responsible for jang son book's husband's death since the day jung joo visited her and was slicing the apple. and my gut feeling abt her killing the husband strengthened when han joon visited her mom too. there was something about the way she talks there describing where she got the knife and how sharp it was. her tendencies to commit murder just fits re: the scene where she was ironing her husband's clothes and han joon saw the violet marks on her back. she's repressed her anger for a long time having to live with his abusive husband, suffering from domestic violence? maybe. aaaah, i can't wait for everything to unfold so that it gets less confusing!! 'til next week <3
