This is a period action drama with fantasy elements. The story is set in the early 1960s-70s. It was previously made into a movie under a different title and was very popular in the past. It has been remade many times, and each version has been successful. The story is set in Ayutthaya province.
The protagonist, Saming, is framed as a notorious bandit and the murderer of the district chief. He is in love with Srinuan, but she becomes involved with Luesan, the governor's son from Bangkok. They are separated and unable to marry, and Srinuan becomes a single mother. The story focuses on two generations: the generation of Saming, the bandit, and the generation of Srinuan's children.
The show features action-packed fight scenes that are designed to be entertaining and visually appealing, as well as four romantic storylines.
The first two couples are from the older generation, with the actors being youthful and attractive, including both Saming and Luesan. The other two couples are from the younger generation, and they are portrayed excellently, especially the couple of Soidao (PP Punpreedee) and the Captain (Ryu Vachirawich), who is undercover to catch the bandit. Trust me, everyone who watches this show will love these two.
If you're not interested in the romance, there's still plenty of action, investigation, and fun fantasy elements to enjoy. Additionally, the show's CG and production are spectacular, featuring explosive boat scenes, burning huts, and truly hilarious comedic moments.
You'll get to see the houses, lifestyles, and beliefs of Thais in the olden days, especially the lives of people living on boats along the Chao Phraya River, which are now almost nonexistent.
The fighting techniques in the action scenes are beautifully executed, and the younger actors perform admirably. One particularly famous scene, which has been widely shared on TikTok, is where Ryu carries PP with one arm while fighting.
I believe everyone who watches it will feel good immediately after finishing. I might deduct some points for the unrealistic in some scenes, but then again, it's fantasy. You can easily overlook those aspects.

Thai style comedy that gives hope for people.
This is another great production by snap25. I consider this lakorn to be a large-scale production, judging from the veteran actors in the cast and the use of many large-scale scenes, such as the bus crash scene. I haven't watched lakorn for a long time, but I came back to watch this one because Yin is in it. And when I watched it, I felt nostalgia for lakorns I used to watch when I was a child. All the actors I used to see in lakorns when I was a kid are in this. I got to see people I hadn't seen for a very long time again. The big names are probably the actress who plays Grandma and the actor who plays Gaem's father. All the guest actors are big names as well. The drama feels complete and realistic. I like Thua's house and the other houses; they don't look like just sets but like real, lived-in houses. They feel very realistic.
The story's concept cleverly twists the common theme of vulnerable people, such as children, pregnant women, and the elderly, who require consideration on Thai buses, into heroes with superpowers.
The content seems fantastical, but it's executed realistically. Watching it, many vulnerable groups facing problems should feel a sense of hope. The presentation style is Thai-style comedy, as the goal is to create hope and alleviate suffering from problems, which it does well. There are many hilarious scenes that had me lol.
Yin's acting is excellent; he portrays a charming character. Those who like underdog stories will surely love Yin. His character is full of encouragement, brave, and never gives up. Kate, who plays Gaem, is perfect for the role and has great chemistry with Yin. Grandma also has excellent chemistry with Yin and is a character that gives a lot of hope to older people.
As for Gungging, she plays a character with many scenes with Thua, to the point that if this were a series, I'd start to think she might end up with Yin instead of Gaem, haha. Lastly, Typhoon is a very charming child with both a cute face and adds color to the story. All the elements in the story are so good that I want a sequel.

Iconic Comedy
Blue Sky of Love didn’t attract much attention during its initial theatrical release and didn’t perform very well at the box office. However, it was later recognized as a classic Thai comedy that people should seek out and watch. The film regained popularity after the passing of the famous comedian Kom Chuanchuen due to COVID-19, and viewers who revisited it have given overwhelmingly positive reviews, praising it as one of his iconic comedic works.
Set during the Cold War era of the 1970s, the story is grounded in real historical events involving students affected by the October 6, 1976 massacre, many of whom fled into the jungles to join the Communist Party of Thailand (CPT).
female lead is one of those who joins the communist movement in the forest, while the ml and his four friends enter the forest simply to escape city life. By chance, they miss their intended ride and end up boarding another vehicle, whose passengers are not tourists but members of the Communist Party aiming to liberate the people. Forced by circumstance, the 4 troublemakers end up embedded within the Communist camp, participating in their forest activities.
However, the 4 troublemakers end up causing chaos in the camp—for example, they accidentally harvest all the rice supplies, leading to a hilarious situation. This forces the camp leader to go into a nearby village to seek food supplies, with the four men tagging along, partly because the ml is interested in the fl.
At one point, while escaping from soldiers, the male lead and his friends get separated. The film clearly divides the narrative into parts, first focusing on the male lead’s friends, which is full of humor, before shifting back to the male and female leads along with the camp leader, where the tone becomes more serious. There are also light romantic moments between the leads, along with a somewhat melodramatic backstory for the male lead.
The movie concludes with a "Happy Ending" typical of the comedy genre, while successfully portraying the ideological conflicts of that era. While some of the humor is uniquely Thai, the core comedy remains universal.
