I'm not much of a K-Drama watcher, but some of these sound pretty interesting! In particular, I really like the idea of a Mr. & Mrs. Smith remake~
(Also, just a small note, but for the Star Trek one, the description references Star Trek: The Original Series/the "reboot" movies, but the photo used is from Star Trek: Discovery which only features Spock for one season & Kirk doesn't even appear in... I'm really sorry to be that person, but as a fan of the franchise I feel the need to mention it. )
In my case, 2021 was my 2nd year participating in the challenge so I had already learned some things from the mistakes I made in 2020.
I’ve personally found it easiest to plan out/research the "harder"/more specific prompts & leave the "easier" ones open for later. That way I can discover new titles that I probably wouldn’t have if not for the challenge while still allowing myself the flexibility to watch what I want w/o feeling like I’m being tied down. I also find it helpful to get at least a few of the substitutions done in advance, so if you end up stuck near the very end you've got a backup in place.
On the other hand, one of the main issues that I always seem to have is that I’ll watch several sets of related titles (ex: Nodame Cantible drama + SP + 2 movies) so the the genre/tags/themes/etc. overlap for all of them & I end up having to get creative w/ where to put some of them...
Is this like a recording of the stage play? Or is it completely different?
Yes & no?? About half of it (primarily the showtime & kabuki segments) was recorded in a theater, so there's similarity to stage play in that sense, but it was filmed using more cinematic elements/effects & camera angles. (I'm not sure how much sense that makes, but Snow Man has a few clips uploaded on their YT that you can take a look at for a better idea.) A few of the songs & the greater part of the play portion were shot more like an actual movie.

Also, I'm interested in seeing Micchi's interpretation of Kindaichi.

I'm hoping they also get Twit/Insta in the future, but alas you never know w/ Johnny's.
