it's a happy ending for xiao jue and he yan, they even had a daughter, hopefully they show her on the drama too.…
war - enemy attacking.. Not sure which faction drama will use. Brother as in HRF (in novel they were cousins)? HRF and most of the He family was executed for killing and masquerading as General Feihong
in ep 12 hee yan suspected that because "general he ru fei" and xiao jue knew each other for a long time,…
she can't tell him until the drama twist on battle of mingshu is clarified. else it will be a friends to lovers to enemies trope. remember he blames feihong/hrf for his father's death
Can't wait for the identity reveal. Whenever that will be. But for now, I will just enjoy the hot sizzling chemistry…
before the reveal they need to first clear up the reinforcement delay in battle of mingshu or it is going to be bad. Drama only - feihong was never involved in the battle of mingshu
This was really cool..and I think this is going to be true with all her revenge "tasks" if you will.
sadly i don't remember any progress on her revenge until when the story shifts to the capital. even rundu mission was motivated by her cleaning up her brother's mess. in fact i expect them to drop some of the past relationships in the rundu arc as it is hard without the rebirth element.
i believe in the drama she does as she studied at the academy with xiao jue, just probably isn’t that good at…
it was a male academy - they don't teach female specific arts.
XJ got his skills from a different set of teachers. It was a running joke that Yan He is always competing with XJ who comes late and always sleeps in class.
I’m so disappointed. I’ve read the novel multiple times waiting for the drama but it’s real bad. I dropped…
we are suspecting the LMD scandal impacted the pacing of the original built-up. Do give it a try at least till after the banquet. if trailers are to be a guide, they are dedicating 5 episodes just for the built up for jiang city arc - so it is not breakneck speed like the initial 10-11 episodes. Episode 12 is also popular for its combat.
they do show the scars on her body (new and old) after the fight with ding li.
could be a drama change. if i recall correctly chan an xi's family was held hostage. after mingshu they got a…
he was a trusted lieutenant in the novel too. his family was held hostage by PM Xu to force him to betray general xiao. like drama, he was supposed to have died in the battle of mingshu
after battle of jiang city, mu hongjin's people manage to keep him alive enough for him to talk to XJ on the true nature of the battle of mingshu
they adapted that from the novel. In the novel in order to hide her swordplay she predominantly wields the whip…
if they adapt the novel religiously. another kick ass whip sequence will happen in jiyang.
oh and she also uses the sword when killing ding yi but no one saw it then unlike the drama.
i am actually suspecting they are going to drop the "swordplay reveals her identity" aspect from the drama as they are introducing many plotholes in regards to it.
Our heroine backed our poor hero into the corner for many eps with her endless flirting so he reciprocates all-in.…
he felt her squeezing his sleeve and realized he may have gone too far and am not willing to stoke the fire. i believe even now he is still in a mindset of teasing her and have not come to terms with his own feelings
oh she's aware.. wait till ep 17
