I was surprised by how detached I felt during the last episode. Mainly irritated, too many twists and turns and…
didnt realise this show had annoying fans, people spent the back few weeks criticising the storylines but because of a happy ending they're satisfied. a lot of dumb writing and the characters acting stupid or unrealistic (haein's family are too stupid to be chaebols lmao) and hyunwoo was acting like a superman with him still capable of walking when he got hit with a car, got shot and recovered easily
it was a dumb comment though, obviously i was writing my personal opinion and responding back that its my opinion isnt a meaningful contribution either.
8.9/10 is way too high of a rating. the drama went downhill with the 2nd half and a lot of the characters got annoying or the plots became contrived. the main couple carried it but even then it got exhausting watching them constantly cry like at some point i stopped feeling emotional
i had high expectations knowing the writer wrote CLOY and the early episodes were good but the past episodes have been terrible. the main couple has been carrying the story and even then there's the issue of the divorce being solved quickly and the miscarriage hasn't been brought up again.
You are anime fan , right??? Can you recommend me some good animes because I just started watching anime ??
it depends on what you like. for comedy i recommend monthly girls' nozaki-kun (its basically a parody of popular shoujo tropes). for romance a lot of people love kimi ni todoke, wotakoi, horimiya. for popular movies there's a silent voice, wolf children and your name. for dramas i love clannad. for action, attack on titan is very popular!
i only watched this for the actress after WIFTY. i personally didn't see any chemistry with the male lead and he was extremely monotone and barely smiled. the second male lead was far more interesting and the two had far better chemistry.
I find the male lead's acting to be headache-inducing. I noticed some comments defending him by saying that it's…
its because he's from a famous kpop group. his acting was very typical of an idol, bad and stiff. the actress plays a similar role in WIFTY but the male lead there can pull off a quiet, introverted guy way better. the writing also sucks, a huge downgrade after checking it out due to the actress being in WIFTY
i only have a few episodes left but the show gets boring once the leads finally end up together. the main couple's development is good but i liked them more in high school than post-college. felt like we didn't get enough angst post-college considering how things ended with them at the end of high school.
the second couple are genuinely terrible. first there's no chemistry and the best friend is just annoying and lowkey a pushover. the brother also did a cruel prank on her during high school which makes me not root for them. their storyline is grating to watch with the pregnancy stuff too. i also don't like her relationship with her mum, so far she has shown zero love and appreciation toward her mum. it's fine to not be on best terms with her but the way she acts you would think her mum is a horrible parent with zero redeeming qualities
@zainab You are entitled to your opinion. It is your choice to continue or drop it. HL was a big hit with some…
just because two actresses have a similar trait doesn't mean i will like it on both characters. the FL in WIFTY has a cute voice but it felt natural to me hence why i didn't have an issue with it whereas the FL in hidden love felt forced to me and didn't make sense with how her younger version was portrayed.

WIFTY is the first cdrama i've finished so i was excited for HL since they both have the same author but it didn't suit my taste. it didn't help that the casting decisions made the main couple look creepier than it actually is. the young female lead is 12 in real life while she met the guy who is 26 in real life. it would've better to cast a younger guy for the flashback scenes and an actual 14 year old for the young female.
the female lead's voice in WIFTY didn't bother me as much because she looked very cute and it felt natural to me whereas the younger version of the FL sounded normal and more mature vs the actual FL who somehow got a cutesy voice as she got older and just felt forced to me.
seen people recommend this after 'when i fly towards you' but i thought the first episode was bad. i didn't care for the backstory and the cinematography felt like a downgrade compared to WIFTY. and then the age gap between the leads felt icky and then when they meet again when the FL is a bit older, she has a cutesy voice that's irritating to listen to. overall not a good first impression since i just felt bored watching it and ended up skipping a lot
one of the best dramas i've seen. the characters are well-rounded and the 2 pairings have great chemistry and love stories. the comedy is also good and the friendship group felt very genuine and very fun to watch. guran and jia were my favourites.
can't wait for her to return to acting. she said she wants to focus on stayc first so once the group is more secure and established she will go back to acting again.
