In the novel the main character (new manager) is a man, not a woman like here, so I think that already this fact struck me in a negative way. It's not that I don't like it when the MC is a girl, but as a big fan of a novel I would just simply prefer to see the history of Jung Sunwoo and a girlgroup he managed. (It's just me, complaining like an idiot) Also, the drama felt... cringy. Not really my type of humor.
I loved everything up to ep 11, until Woo Young and Da Jung kissed. I felt soooo uncomfortable with the huge age…
Exactly! When it felt like they are about to kiss each other, I was like... yeah, they will definitely switch him symbolically to his older version, but they didn't! I was so shocked by this, It felt so uncomfortable...
The direction is good, the actors are great, the overall feeling is heartwarming, but the plot... Maybe I had too many expectations, because Prison Playbook is my favorite drama, but this one gets more boring with every episode for me.
I don't remember watching any drama that got me this emotional. Beautiful from beginning to end with wonderful…
Dear My Friends is really good. I don't know if you're searching for something like that, but it's also an emotional, beautiful ride focusing on elderly people.
this sounds and looks bad but I'm going to give it a try, if it's entertaining at least I'm in
Personally I don't recommend this. It has a lot of wasted potential, complete disappointment for me. It could be good, but it turned out to be a rather cringe-watch.
am i the only one that finds this drama super overrated...it`s just so boring!
Cuz it is overrated, but I guess people only need their favorite actors for a drama to be described as a masterpiece by them. I mean, in 2014 it was a rather satisfying romance to watch, but it did not stand the test of time.
