Xenophobic propoganda? Have you actually watched US Drama's. It is full of that kind of thing. I like the American people but sorry to say the US is the world's bigget bully, smaller and weaker countries (most of the world) are a afraid to stand up to it. The ones that do are labelled "Malign Influences" because they don't cower down appropriately.
I really enjoyed this drama. The first episode was hilarious. This did take a while to get going but it was really great once it did. I loved the ending - left a smile on my face.
Did he seriously have to yell at her and act so possessive and controlling just cause he was jealous? Ugh. One…
Honestly I can see why he did. When she thought it was Gook who convinced the director she was oh so grateful even buying him gifts. When she finds out it is CM she just yells at him and expresses no gratitude. That's nice isn't it? Particular as he's now in debt to his uncle.
JH cares about JH and JH's emotions, she didn't stop to think why he helped her - just allowed her own insecurities to come to the fore. CM reacted to her anger with his own. It is probably a scene that was replayed a dozen times throughout their marriage.
Those two bring out the best and worst in each other but they need to start communicating better. Maybe if they had they would still be married despite all the outside interference.
I really enjoyed this drama, then the dead wife turned up. Then things went downhill and this turned into the NY show. Sorry, not interested in seeing the cheating wife, who hid from her kids for seven years getting everything she wanted. Not here for that. Then to add insult we get some kind of vague - oh they're back together but you'll have to imagine it and you'll have imagine the kids reunion as well with NDJ.
Before the dead wife I would have given the drama an 8 or 9, now it gets a 6.
I ended up really enjoying this drama. The first episode was awful and full of so many unrealistic plot contrivances. HDJ annoyed the heck out of me in the first episode but either she toned it down or I'd got used to her but she bothered me less as the story went on. KYS is probably what kept me watching - perfect hero material, tragic past, cold, detached... just needs the perfect someone to warm him up. It also help that the actor is really charismatic and pretty much carried the whole drama. Probably would have dropped if it had been a different lead actor and second lead.
What was that ending? If you're going to create a love triangle .. however limp at least have the guts to give us a definitive ending. For me I saw no interest from P-Kun to Chisato. He acknowledged she was beautiful etc. He seemed to have more emotional attachment to Haru. If they were going to go the route they seem to have been hinting at they needed to show his attraction to her more. It looked to me he was just going out with her because she wanted him and Haru had rejected him... without him realising he wanted her. Jeez when they weren't talking about Chisato's career or her father they were talking about Haru. We needed to see more for this ending. So ends a not so inspiring drama.
