This question has been bugging me since the beginning: How does being married to Kang Ju help the mother's company…
I dont see any flaw here (ridiculous maybe :p). Initially Yi kyung was engaged to Kang Ju two years before the drama starts. Then the ghost appears infront of Yi kyung to test her love for kang ju saying she'll die if she marries kang ju. As Yi kyung was only after the money to save their company and no love, she approaches her mother on what to do. Having heard about Doo rim from Yi hyun both of them hatch a plan to marry off doo rim to kang ju and when doo rim dies, replace doo rim with yi kyung.
First Yi kyung's mom didn't know about curse and when she knew she hatched this plan to save Yi kyung. So according to her Yi kyung was never going to be the wife for only one day. If Yi kyung becomes the wife of a large conglomerate they wouldn't let their in-law's company go bankrupt. So she'll get the monetary help she needs and Yi kyung can also have a comfortable life. This is the mom's POV.
I just marathoned the first 6 episodes after hearing lots of good things about this drama.
First things first, there was a big loophole in the narrative in eps 4 & 5. When Dong chan was chasing cha bong we clearly see cha bong ahead of dong chan in many shots. How did he go back to the apartment and wipe all his prints?? What was Dong chan doing all that time???Also when he gets down near Soo hyun's car during chase and gets up he was wearing the same shirt (fire safety inspector's) and later when soo hyun finds the cover we see his shirt inside the cover.
I understand what they wanted to do as I watched the next episodes but they could have executed it properly.Apart from this minor gripe, series is very very good. I hope the same intensity continues throughout the drama.
is it just me or the restaurant looks very similar to the one in "Flower boy Ramyun Shop"??? One more thing I noticed is Doo Rim's phone is just a basic phone which is apt for her poor background. Sick of seeing Galaxy phones in everyone's hands :P
Just finished 8th episode. This is one of the best dramas I have seen. I like the fact that he's loyal to her right from the beginning. Lots of kdramas tend to overplay the first love(previous love) card.
This is the first ever Korean movie (or anything related to Korean) I have watched and I was so touched by this movie. Simply put this movie is the reason I'm addicted to Korean movies and dramas. Although My Sassy Girl has become my fav since then, this still has a special place in my heart.
Now that I completed watching this drama I like Yoon Eun Hye best when she's laughing (she's just lovely when she laughs). Overall an above average drama with a nice satisfying ending.
