I respect ur opinion, but for me I think Alice did a great job here as a depressed person who is losing the will to live a life happily, btw she is not social awkward, she actually very brave, she just talk less (maybe this is not her true self) she is a totally broken person who lives the life in guilt, you know when your life is sucked at the darkness moment that you can't even cry out loud and didn't even have a courage to take ur own life cause you know clearly how the alive person feel after losing a loved one. she think herself just like that fish in the aquarium that is toxic and hurt everyone near her that's why she always distance herself when someone trying to approach her. look forward to see her better self :))
