as a longtime cha eunwoo acting critic i can’t believe i’m saying this but this role actually really suited him 😭

idk if he genuinely improved or if he just does way better with darker colder characters but something finally clicked here. he has that naturally intimidating aura and this role actually let him use it instead of fighting against it

like for the first time i could fully enjoy how much of a candy he looks on screen without getting distracted by his acting skills 😭 he really needs to keep doing roles like this

Am I the only one who thinks Eun Bin is acting a bit too much. I understand that her character is bit quirky but…
i think her character is supposed to be a bit icky and annoying, she isn’t even that liked by her own people either

I had to pause for ten minutes because I couldn’t stop laughing. when he read ‘my fan’ as ‘my man,’ I genuinely lost it 😭

They changed the FLs whole character. Why argue with a farmer you don’t know, in a town where you’re supposed…
unfortunately it was done to move the plot forward 🙃 hopefully it’ll make more sense in the next episodes

the chemistry between the two leads is really strong and makes their scenes feel natural and engaging. Both actors deliver great performances and bring a lot of depth to their roles

If you enjoy psychological thrillers this is definitely something you’ll appreciate. The story is well told and keeps you interested from start to finish. It might not be anything groundbreaking but it’s still a genuinely enjoyable watch

Overall, i liked it. It’s not spectacular but it’s a solid film that’s easy to get into and worth checking out

i really like the older woman/younger guy trope in this season, it just feels refreshing compared to the usual dynamics. there’s something nice about seeing a relationship where the woman is more established and the guy meets her there instead of the other way around

Team Babi or Woong? 😂
i’m kind of conflicted 😩 i really loved yumi and Babi together. their relationship felt complete in a way, and i liked how he took care of her etc he just feels more like “boyfriend material” to me.

at the same time, i can’t help but have a soft spot for Woong. i don’t even think he’s the better partner but there’s something about him that makes me root for him anyway 😭

honestly i kind of wish they had just stayed friends, even though i know that’s not really realistic

crazy thing is i actually started season 3 without watching the first two 😭 i just wanted something light to watch during the week and this was the only one airing, so i went in without thinking

and now look at me… i already binge-watched both seasons and i’m stuck waiting every week like everyone else 😭

i can’t believe i never watched them before because they’re genuinely so fun and funny. i even watched season 2 first and then season 1, which made it even more entertaining in a weird way

so if you’re hesitating, just watch it. you can start with season 3 but honestly go binge the first two while you wait, it’s worth it !

i feel sad for you that you are so dead, there was so much community and healing and joy and humor in village…
first of all, i’m not watching either of those dramas, so that assumption is already off.

second, this is a discussion platform. people are allowed to like or dislike something as long as they’re respectful, which i’ve been. what’s not necessary is you going around comment sections being dismissive and condescending every time someone disagrees with you

They changed the FLs whole character. Why argue with a farmer you don’t know, in a town where you’re supposed…
i get what you’re saying, but that’s not really what i meant. i’m not talking about her expectations or how she sees him, i’m talking about her behavior.

being career-focused or even a workaholic doesn’t suddenly make someone impulsive or pick fights with strangers. that’s just not how they introduced her. they actually showed her as pretty grounded and in control of herself.

like even with her coworker, who clearly tried to get a reaction out of her, she stayed composed and didn’t engage. and that’s someone she deals with regularly. so it doesn’t really make sense that she meets a random guy for the first time and suddenly starts arguing like that.

that’s why it feels out of character to me, not just a matter of perspective

right 😭 and what makes it worse is that they spent the whole episode showing how grounded and competent she is as a successful career woman. like she’s supposed to be smart and composed, so why is she suddenly acting impulsive and picking fights with random people?? it just feels so out of character

why is every village drama about work lately omg its so annoying. What happened to healing plot and showcasing…
literally 😭 i feel like they forgot what made village dramas comforting in the first place. like where’s the slow healing, the community vibes, the little traditions

okay so i was surprised by the low ratings but now i understand after watching.
thhe first episode kinda felt like a missed opportunity.

a pilot is supposed to grab your attention right away and make you want to keep watching but this one just didn’t do that for me. it felt really flat and honestly a bit boring.

i think what disappointed me the most is that it wasn’t even funny. i love a good corny k-drama like i don’t care how cheesy it is, as long as it’s fun. but here there was nothing, no comedy, no charm, nothing that made me smile.

it just felt really bland overall, which is a shame because i had high hopes for it

its so sad because she is naturally pretty, she didnt need those fillers, her lips looks off now 🥲
it doesn’t look great because her filler has migrated and the bruising makes it worse 😭

I don't see it as a political thriller - those usually have winners and losers. This one is pure psychological…
it leans psychological but the political side is still central because everything they do is shaped by power, status and public image. it’s not about clear winners and losers but about how the system pressures them and distorts their choices.

the only thing i didn’t like about the drama was Nana’s lip injection bruises. i get that they were going for a natural look but i don’t understand why they didn’t cover them up because it was really distracting

Title Climax
after today’s episode the dynamic between Jeong Won and Chu Sang A becomes impossible to ignore what initially read as rivalry now feels far more complex almost uncomfortably intimate Jeong Won isn’t simply competing with Sang A there’s a pull there something closer to fascination maybe even a quiet infatuation it’s the kind of tension that blurs the line between admiration and obsession

and honestly the reception so far feels strangely out of sync with what the series is actually delivering a 7.4 rating after just four episodes that feels premature if not outright dismissive Climax isn’t trying to be easy or conventional it leans into a darker more layered space where politics psychology and moral ambiguity intertwine this isn’t a background noise drama it demands attention and in return it offers something far more textured than the usual formula

if you’re on the fence this is not a typical thriller it’s sharper stranger and far less predictable

if you enjoy noir tones political tension and stories that aren’t afraid to linger in discomfort rather than resolve it neatly then this is absolutely worth your time
