Why did XJ let HY lead the 20k troops? What about him? I mean I know shes capable but someone clarify
It's because earlier in the episode, Princess Mengji mentioned that XJ leaving his post in Yezhou was a breach of military law. She said that him leading troops now would bring graver consequences. I'm guessing another reason he let HY lead besides being confident in her skills was to avoid further consequences.
