This is a very good drama but I can get over episode 22 I think I will stop here....
I can't believe that the story ended her. I cried so hard for 2 episodes. I am now at episode 26 and waiting for the adult Liang Si Shen who has just returned from America to hopefully show up in episode 27.
I just checked. It's not subtitled in English yet. Maybe down the road someone will pick it up. It's a good drama and it's a waste if it's not shared to the fullest.
For those who are not sure whether this drama is right for you, I would say give this drama a try. I have just finished watching episode 42 and this drama continues to amaze me with its story.
More like a slice of life kind of show. But this has 5 clips. The 5 stories are too short to develop an emotional attachment to each clip. Need to draw your own conclusion too. Acting part, they are all good. Just the storyline, they are weird. Of all the stories, I feel like the 1st story (Japan) is the best.
That's because it know it would face stiff competition against other drama series released in the same time from…
Wow. What a different way of marketing and executing a drama. I wonder whether iqiyi will continue to do the same way for all of their dramas? This will be intense. They should spread it out to at least a week or so, for the drama to publicize itself. Airing the entire drama in just a few short days, exposure wise is too short to get noticed if someone missed logging into their website.
Finally, I've completed episode 36. If anyone completes the drama, please let me know whether I understood the ending correctly. At the end, Yun Ye is trapped in the secret underground tomb, right? That means he will end up dying there?
This is the fastest airing drama that I have ever encountered. Started airing in iqiyi.com on Oct 29, 2018 and finished airing on Oct 31, 2018 for the entire 36 episodes. It is 45 minutes per episode. Not 15 minutes or 30 minutes. I can't even catch my breath watching this drama...
I am into episode 16 now and I really like the main leads and all the actors as well. I don't feel the presence of any evil villains. There are the usual not so good/friendly people but I can't categorize them as evil. Feels like a light, kid friendly, "PG" or "PG13" drama, in my opinion. This drama is interesting enough to have me put my other dramas on hold and concentrate on this one. I hope that the remaining episodes of this drama gives a little more excitement, more "Wow factor", more Umph!... not sure how to describe it. It's still lacking of something. Don't get me wrong. It is still an interesting drama. I am just greedy for more action.
*** Spoke too soon. The mastermind is revealed in episode 17. A lot of activities going on after this episode. "Honeymoon" is over. No more PG13...
I don't agree since lots of users are not from the US, so this do not apply to us.
Your comment somehow reminded me of filling up a Chiropractor Assessment questionnaire like “How are you feeling today?” “Rate your pain level at this moment, “0” being no pain and “10” being extremely painful.”
Great article. There are so many variables that can affect the ratings. At least, if we can standardize the meaning of 0-10 or 1-5 Star ratings, perhaps the rating result should be somewhat more accurate?
Is there anywhere in MDL where we can find out the grading system? Should we use the US college grading system to rate the shows in MDL?
Quality of Performance (Percentage) Distinguished 90 and above Excellent 85-89 Good 75-84 Qualified 70-74 Poor 65-69 Fail Below 65
Quality of Performance Excellent - Exceptional Achievement A+, A, A- Good - Extensive Achievement B+, B, B- Satisfactory - Acceptable Achievement C+, C Poor - Minimal Achievement D Failure - Inadequate Achievement F
So. this would be translated as the following in MDL: Distinguished 9-10 Excellent 8.5-8.9 Good 7.5-8.4 Qualified 7.0-7.4 Poor 6.5-6.9 Fail Below 6.5
Excellent - Exceptional Achievement A+, A, A- -5 Stars Good - Extensive Achievement B+, B, B- -4 Stars Satisfactory - Acceptable Achievement C+, C -3 Stars Poor - Minimal Achievement D -2 Stars Failure - Inadequate Achievement F -1 Star
