Is the other mobster(the one is glasses) also an undercover cop? i feel like him saying he's also not from gangnam was a hint and him saying the higher ups have another way of making money too. idk it feels like that's what they were trying to imply. maybe he's been undercover for a while since he helped jicheol take over or he got convinced by police to help idk

ohhh? i guess. i mean it makes sense but it kinda doesnt make sense also. Cause then wouldn't every other soldier who almost died have powers. Idk i'll try not to think about too much lol
i don't know how to feel about this drama because it was good for the most part but there were a number of plotholes and things that just didn't make sense for me. SHS acting is always great and the drama looked good but some of the decisions they took with the characters was just meh. I felt like the show had no true conflict. was it Seo ha and his dad or Ji eum and her first life? they set up the dad to be this stand offish guy who doesn't really care about his son and is hiding something, then all of a sudden he loves his son and only did what he did to protect him? it doesn't make sense given the way he treated seo ha and not to mention doyoon. Also, why on earth will a father protect the man who attempted murder on his son (i know he was the target but still). I feel like as an audience they didn't give much back story to that whole plot. It just feels like halfway through the show they realized they wanted the first life issue be the center and then they switched.
they abandoned the whole Seo ha fixing up the hotel, for the first life plot point which didn't really make sense in my opinion. If they were going to make that a major storyline they should have included it from the beginning, and also it was just lackluster. IDK i wish the drama was 16 episodes cause it just felt rushed and not cohesive for me but the acting was great. I've seen a couple people say they didn't like the male lead but u think he was great. he and SHS did a good job. I do wish Ahn Dong Goo gave us a bit more though. I didn't like the ay he delivered majority of his lines

Exactly. They're trying to redeem her character, but she has been abusive from the start. The show could have been really good, but it's weird how they clearly show how abusive she is with her son and wants us to just say, oh she said sorry i guess so it's fine. bro? She doesn't want Kang ho to get revenge? That's literally her reason for being like that with him in the first place. I like the show but i don't like the mom lol.
