Exactly my thoughts re the BL fantasy. Complaining about âlack of actionâ, like these men are brave enough to go on such a show in a place like SK so they can be fetishized :(( Then they get butthurt and defensive when theyâre called out for it. So to me itâs intentional ignorance of the fact that these are real people who -surprise surprise- have personal tastes that donât neccessarily reflect the fujo yaoi dream of pairing a fem and a masc looking person they can project onto. And donât even get me started on predicting whoâs top/bottom (hate this generalisation with passion!), which they have deducted solely by their apperancesâŠ.. Tell me youâve never met gay people in rl without telling me lol
I hope there are no swarm of fujoshits watching this.

Sadly they only uploaded the cut episode 0, which is also available on yt. The uncut version of this ep and all upcoming ones are only on iQIYI and NOT available anywhere in Europe from what I read so far :(((
Am I the only one who really understood why Saeroyi got down on his knees and that he didn't gave up his beliefs…
Youâre not.. IC seems to bring out the the ones who had typical drama-trope expectations and are now noisily complaining that their expectations werenât met..Apparently this means that the writers did it ALL WRONG, also because their ship sunk, the drama is crap *eyeroll
This was probably the most stupid thing Iâve ever watched, and Iâve watched TONS. I swear Iâm a humorous person, itâs just not what I would consider funny. Fast-forwarded through the whole thing, it was that awful. One tiny point for the gorgeous males and the pretty girl, but apart from that..sheesh.
After Love Rain and K2 Iâve learned to give dramas with her a miss. Sheâs beautiful and lovely to look at, but she is not a good actress, hardly any emotions (when you manage to have NO chemistry with JI CHANG WOOK your actong seriously sucks!) or whiny/annoying. Sorry fans..
I know what you mean and I do agree, but, while I'm no fan of her at all, I can see those tears being a mix of relief and also because she has been manipulated to the point of Stockholm Syndrom..
She's not bad as in evil, but she is weak, opportunistic and selfish. Prepare for a ton of people explaining/apologising away her behaviour for various reasons. I myself can't really stand people like that. There are so many people out there with a tough upbringing (myself included) and it does not automatically turn you into someone who is-self centered to the point it sabotages other peoples feelings..being/becoming like that is a CHOICE in my opinion.
Im watching this because Ive seen all the others except for the Thai version. I have to say first off, the storyline…
Just stumbled over your review while looking for more INK versions -since I love the Thai version so much for toning down all the unlikeable elements (like the utter insane stupidity of the fl) while making you root for all characters - I highly recommend it :)!
6 versions? Please tell me all of them. I just watched a few and I love the Thai one!
So do I! Iâve rewatched this so many times already! In my opinion, they managed to get the mix of comedy and heartache just right :) and Mike is..well..Mike :D
Truth is that this drama is unfortunately very unrealistic in so many aspects. They wanted a forced character…
Iâve asked someone who read the wbtoon about Geun Woo, because it seemed so abrupt. Apparently in the wt, the scene of him outing hyuni came after he left for the US for 7 years! So, his change of character came about while he was away for a long time and working to achieve the goal at jangga. It is unfortunate that the decided to move this around and therefore robb this character of a believable change..
As for the romance between YSeo and Seroi -there were so mAny little things foreshadowing this outcome even before the time jump: him telling her about his plns, dreams, traumas -he never had these kinds of talk with SoAah. The scene where they played spin-the-bottle - I KNEW he wouldvsay he likes SoAah, but like the times before, it was almost automatic, emotionless. It was something he just took as âfactâ without ever pausing to look at his true feelings. He hesitated very long before answering if he liked Yiseo -why wasnât this reply instant? When they talked outside, he came up with all sorts of reasons, but all were excuses and he never said he didnât have feelings, only that these feelings would be wrong -so the impulse had been there, but his stubborn nature repressed it as wrong.
Kim Da Mi kept on messing with Saeroyiâs feelings throughout the drama. Am I the only one annoyed with that?…
Not annoyed but relieved here! SooAh was messing with him for 15 years while she never gave anything back to him! She kept him at armâs length because she cherished being liked. She had so many chances over the years but she kept telling him to not like her! She has no right to him! Yiseo was always open about her feelings, how is that messing? Also, you donât leave people you never had ..
