I am a bit confused. Anna Tsuchiya is half Japanese and they seem to acknowledge this fact in the flashbacks where her young self is also half.. but they are all full siblings. Does that mean it’s implied she’s full Japanese despite her appearance?
This is the very first drama I felt like I didn’t need to fast forward or skip a scene. Dramas normally drag things out, bore you at certain points, repeat the same things over and over again. With this show, I couldn’t put it down, I couldn’t stop watching every scene, no matter how uncomfortable or upsetting it got. It’s a very beautifully made show about very ugly things. Perhaps some of us can relate to the feelings to at least one of the characters in the story.
Why not? She had one affair and got caught. Do you not realize how many affairs and sh*t people do everyday. Moms, fathers, husbands, wives. She made one mistake and got caught and now the entire world hates her.
Minami’s drama Alibi is significantly a lot better than this one. I adore her character in this drama. But because of the crappy male lead and flat story, it really fell short for me. She basically does the exact same thing in alibi where she solves murder cases. But in that one I found myself actually rooting for the male lead and hoping he doesn’t get found out. Whereas in this drama I wish for the downfall of the male lead T_T
I watched the entire thing. I realize I can’t stand Kalen anzai’s acting. I felt like the portrayal of Ayumi Hamasaki was completely opposite of the actual diva. Of course it is meant to put her in a good light, But I just really disliked Allen’s wooden acting. And the lovey Dovey parts were so cheesy. Ughhh. So disappointed.
Out of curiosity I read the manga while watching the show.. makes a lot more sense when reading than watching, this was not meant to be a drama adaptation. When people say it’s cringy and cheesy, I didn’t know what to expect. At first I was hoping there would be twists and turns in the show. But nope. Just pure cringe. Gives me goosebumps sometimes when they say certain lines. Too many “i love you” and too many “you’re so kawaii”
I love Maeda Atsuko. She's super beautiful and cute in this drama. The music is nice too.
Just finished it today. Though the story took a pretty predictable turn and things sorta went downhill. Still enjoyed it. Even cried at one episode when she was crying. And YEAH. So many steamy sexy scenes xD dun think there's any spoilers in here so I'll leave it as it is. It's a nice drama to watch at night.
