He's no newbie. He's way better than some other idol actors. He's been in He is Psychometric had a cameo in Melting Me Softly and When My Love Blooms and in Dream High 2. He actually debuted as an actor before becoming an idol. I suggest watching a decent amount of his works. If you don't like his acting it's fine but saying it's not amazing doesn't make sense because he's actually one of the better idol actors along with D.O.

I think the production team? couldn't find a tv channel to broadcast it so it just ended up on streaming sites. Rumor has it it was supposed to be aired on SBS but it probably fell through.

I don't know how this was given a go signal to be produced. They have to change the plot and take out the political elements, set it in present time and make it a regular drama or completely stop filming.
