You just mentioned my favorite scene in part 1. Yul is the typical hero. I hardly sympathize with this kind of…
Exactly and thatās why Yul as a character cannot work as the ML instead of Jang Uk, because Yulās biggest antagonist is his own conscience, his own sense of right and wrong. For him Naksu would never be no 1.
Oh my god guys!!!! Stop hating Yul!!! He is the only selfless character in this series!!
Watch Episode 12 part 1, starting at 42 mins. When I saw this, I always felt that he would kill/hurt Naksu.
Heās selfless, yes but to a fault. Heās very morally uptight and would always do whatās right in his book. Even if that means killing Naksu., even if by killing Naksu he would kill himself.
When I was watching part one, I had made a comment that I believed eventually/one day Yul would consider or actually…
Coz I have nothing to do. I found it. Part 1 episode 12, conversation between Uk and Yul starts at 42mins. Yul was always going to eventually try to kill/hurt Naksu
Yul says āits our duty to protect the wold from such monstersā as he looks at Mudeok. Jang Uk says āwe can also protect the monsters from the world, if you keep the monsters in check the world will be at peace.ā
When I was watching part one, I had made a comment that I believed eventually/one day Yul would consider or actually physically hurt Naksu in some way.
Because in one particular episode Yul says something like how he would āākill the monster to save the world.ā Yul has always been very morally uptight. If he believed Naksu was a danger to those around him and the world he would kill her because to him thatās the right thing to do. In response to this Uk had said something like he would protect the monster from the world. Ukās first priority has always been Naksu, we see that even now, because heās hesitant to save a world without her in it.
Of course no one agreed with what I commented, coz they couldnāt believe YUl, perfect Yul would do something so ghastly especially since he loved Naksu so much. But thatās the kind of love he has, he will always do whatās technically right. Even if doing whatās right kills him on the process.
Yul and Uk ātake responsibilityā as Yul says, for Naksu in two different way. Uk would take responsibility by hiding her from the world, and keeping her safe before all else. Yul would take responsibility by taking her down, kind of like taking down a beloved dog thatās turned rabid for the supposed betterment of all, and then dying with the dog bcoz you canāt bare the Pain.
They're teasing they gonna do the classical "and they died on the same day" kinda ending now? I ain't down for…
Seriously does not make sense for it to end in tragedy the second time. IM CHOOSING to believe the Hong sisters are messing with us, and they want us to believe that itās going to end in tragedy, but in fact it will end happily. š¤§šš¤£
After the havoc this show has done. I will never ever watch another show as it airs. Iām scarred for life. Not that I donāt like the show. Just that itās torture
A little unrelated. Can anyone recommend some miniseries/ dramas with fewer episodes. Iām travelling tomorrow and itās going to be 20hours on a plane. Anything I start and finish on the plane. Nothing very long
As a backup Iāve got all episodes of AOS downloaded on my Netflix, in case I feel like watching just that.
Thatās what you think. Please donāt come and just spew hate. If you didnāt like it thatās fine, no need to be so unnecessarily harsh and mean. A lot of us enjoyed it.
Ppl are a bit prissycoz the story isnāt going exactly how they want. Well none of us viewers were the writers so itās best to just enjoy and wait for the next episode. Loosing minds will just create more frustration
Yes!! she is really annoying sometimes.... I don't even understand why this character is introduced who has not…
Sheās just a basic antagonist. I was very surprised by her introduction in part 1, coz she was introduced very late. And did feel very unnecessary. Like she has literally no life of her own, she does nothing other then chase Jang Uk
Whaa⦠but the peacock is Yeon Ok according to CpAnd this peacock needs to be taught a lesson.
How though? I understand that the peacock is a majestic bird and therefore Naksu. In the next episodes preview, CP says is your husband still with your peacock. And from their talks before it looked like she compared herself to the turtle.

Park Jin and Kim Do Joo deserve their happily ever after. Iāll riot if that happens.
