& he does care for her. He didn’t know why she wanted him to go with her to jinyowon, he thought it was for what master Lee said, when Kim do jo told him he went. He threatened the queen for her. He went to look for her when she was sick. I know it looks like he did those things coz he has another motive as well, but no he said that it bothers him when she’s sick. And he called her ‘his ‘ right before they met the queen. He’s not a straight forward character. Ppl need to look between the lines to understand him.

Honestly he was written to be a Tsundere in this part. He’s more of a Tsundere ML than an anti hero lead as the tags say.

Exactly. People are so harsh on him. If he loves Buyeon/Yeong too easily people will be mad he forgot Naksu to easily. If he’s a prickly with Buyeon because he doesn’t understand his own feelings people are angry he’s hurting Buyeon.

And she does not need to do big things. A person trapped in one room for 3 years, has missed out on the simple and small things in life which is what they would want to do and that’s what she’s doing.

I think she called them to visit because she expected Uk to not come that way Yeong would be embarrassed or hurt and maybe she would just stay and not go back home

I also Really loved the episode. Jang Uk was a bit hot and cold as expected but I m kind of enjoying the angst too.
But people want to complaint about everything,it’s annoying.

Exactly. She can never be what she was in part one before she changed bodies people need to understand she’s different. Yes, her body is different. This is not her real body. She’s even shorter and more slender as Jin Mu said.

Three years have passed. She doesn’t have her memories. Of course she’s going to act different. Don’t people change with time and circumstances even when her memories come back fully, she will not be how she was.

What do people expect Uk to behave like. He doesn’t know that Buyeon is Naksu. If he loved her Buyeon so easily ppl would be mad that he so easily forget Naksu. Now people are mad that he is hurting Buyeon/Yeong. Uk runs hot and cold he’s pulled in two different directions it’s very hard to choose to move on and I think he’s very pitiful in that he’s struggling so much because he still truly loves Naksu.

Yes in a way u may find that Buyeon/Yeong is different to Naksu/mudeok. Firstly she doesn’t have her memories, plus she’s lived a very different life for the past 3 years. Don’t people change? According to circumstances though, she will not be exactly as she was in part 1 even if she regains her memories because ppl change.

Don’t look at part 1 with such rose coloured glasses. If you have a problem with the fact that their relationship seems transactional here try to go back and watch part 1.
Mudeok was using Uk in part 1. Remember that before all else. She even poisoned him, yes that was to open his gates of energy, but that was a horrible and shitty thing to do , very risky and Uk almost died. Uk got in trouble for her always and was punished . When they were trapped in Jongjingak with CP and everyone else, mudeok got her powers back, she was about to abandon Uk , but Uk says something to her, and she decided to stay. her initial motive was always to get her powers back through Uk but in the process she fell for him.

Yes Uk is very harsh here, but he’s a scarred person. When he went to Jinyowon, he decided to do what master Lee asked him to , but his initial reason was because Buyeon needed him, as his mother had asked them to visit. Yes he took Buyeon to the queen to find something out, but while there he even threatened her to never touch her, what was his again or he’d destroy everything.

Uk is not a straightforward character. Not in part 2.

He can’t show what he feels outright, because he himself does not accept him , he’s struggling with guilt. If you read between hehe limes, focus on the things he does u will see he cares for her.

He went to see her thinking she’s sick, he called her his outside when they went to see the queen, he did not know they need to go jinyowon because her mother invited them, but he went once he found out, yes it looks like he just did things because he wanted something done, but that’s how it looks not how it is.

You have to look between the lines.

I understand everything you are saying. That’s why I feel very conflicted with his character. Maybe it’s because he’s always used as comic relief it’s hard for me to hate him. But I get it. And that really fs with my head.

I still don’t hate him. I just want him to redeem himself. If he switches to Jang UK’s side only. Bcoz He truly has become Jin Mu’s toy now. I also get why he would have been against Jang Uk when he found out about the kings star coz he must feel like his position is threatened. If only he would make the right decisions and understand that Uk doesn’t want to hurt him.

I think it’s just hard to hate him because he’s played by Shin sueng ho. He plays CP very well.

Wahh that makes me feel so conflicted. Coz I like CP. but he’s really in with the wrong crowd. He knows what Jin Mu is upto but he isn’t helping Jang Uk.

I want to ask why does CP feel that he’s the one who removed MuDeok from Jang’s Uk side? I can’t exactly remember. As far as I know he didn’t have anything to do with Jin Mu’s bells plot, and he didn’t know she was Naksu.

I think so too. Let’s be honest there haven’t been any major character deaths in the two parts, his would be very moving, kind of makes sense. I think So-I and Yul will both die sooner or later.

I have always thought since I saw the trailer for part two. That they will be standing in front of the tree when they find out. Coz in the trailer you see Yeong standing in front of the tree looking so devastated. I think when she’s there she’s remembered everything including stabbing Uk.
