The Whole emperor falling ill arc is a dud! It started out really well and I'm sick of seeing this disgusting princess though her screen time is less. The Jinxu Palace arc is also boring for me. I'm stuck in ep 25. I need motivation now, because it started really well.

OMG I didn't know that Chen Zhe Yuan can pull off bad ass arrogance just like that. This is my first series of him with this face. Loving it.

The last 10 eps really changed the way I saw this drama and because of that I'm giving this 8.5. Cheng lei can really slay the domineering, cold male lead role. If someone wonder whether to watch this drama after dropping it, they should definitely watch the last 10.

I'm kinda sick of this second ML being pity in the beginning and gradually becomes evil as hell at the end plot. Yet another cliche.

I agree. Something was off with SY being a general! Her impact was less than ZY in LOTFG. As a general her aura wasn't appealing. Also her voice? when she shout I don't feel like it's boosting the morale, but a screech. I loved her in Destined. But martial arts is not for her.

Actually the plot surrounding the Main leads are great. It's really worth watching. But the sub plot is a let down. Chu zhao's story especially is too boring. I gave 9 for the leads and their story. It's great. Give it a try.

I think the middle part where people claim to be dragging would be more appealing if they had made the "War" thing properly, Like The prisoner of beauty or Who rules the world or like The legend of female general. Sometimes it feels too off, like there is no connection and flow to the war.

Out of 3 arcs I love the Biluo palace arc the most. It feels new for me in c drama, including so many elements

This drama has one the best costumes and makeup especially for the protagonist!
