When the head of ghost soldier is cut he'd die. that was what shown. He was healing when he was stabbed and slashed in his neck. it's not an hallucination, it was real due to the poison from gui seal.

Actually that was an happy ending. why? He was living his life idling away with no goal because no one in his family respected him, or treated him as their own. Now he can go back to the place where him and his mother lived and restore his family's legacy. This can never be happier than anything for ZZX.
