Honestly, The music direction team did a very poor job in this drama. It's too underwhelming. The entry of Hua ru ye on the snake is really a epic no one would have expected, but the way they made really made it like nothing. the hype must be high.

Actually, The story ended when both ML and FL reconciled and kissed near the river. That imagination was kinda making up for past regrets for MX, and also imagined happy ending, may be the director wanted a scene where all the main and support to be in one frame towards the end. I think that whole thing didn't affect the story or the ending. Also I don't exactly understamd why you feel that story telling was bad. Though it wasn't perfect, it was not so bad.

This drama is really underrated so much. 7.4 is rated for the worst of the worst but this drama don't deserve this. Though it's not perfect, it's already too good for a short drama. The story is also somewhat good. The chemistry is nice and fluffy but ML was serious in chasing FL. The ending was also believable and acceptable. And I have to mention about the music. Omg this series has one of the best songs. The tracks were very carefully chosen and I found lots of music to my taste. Loved it. I gave 8 for this.

Actually he died. It was like Mingxi's imagination of how it would have been if it had ended like that. When YZW was shown he was shown with a bright ethreal light, it meant that he died. though it was not a perfect ending, It somehow expresses the emotions. That ending(her imagination) also includes her regrets. As basketball (not football) members they were close enough to say those words to her, because they were close to JB and somewhat to MX they had more than 3 outings together.

Did you see it clearly? she didn't even try to kiss him. Also she was drunk and thought he was JB. It was YJ who wanted to kiss her, but didn't he didn't even try also. She think JB as her younger brother. What do you mean by keeping boundaries?

1. Actually no one is scared of ZBW. SQA and LY worked for him because CJX told them to work for ZBW before dying, since it was his last words they obeyed. CJX crew was massacred deliberately to hide the fight in astronomical bureau with the queen of Dongxia and wanted to blame dongxia for stealing the seal if the emperor had doubt. Even if CJX wasn't poisoned he would have died anyways.As for gao ming, he was raised by ZBW So he had a debt to fulfill hence he obeyed ZBW but he died by knowingly drinking the poisoned tea because he saw it as a retribution for what he have done for ZH.
ZBW either threatens ppl with their dirty things or gives the people what they need, hence ppl obey him.


2. ZZX lied to ZH because, ZZX allied with ZBW way before it, (because if ZH knew the 3rd enemy, he wouldn't go further to find gui seal. When the 3rd enemy is killed his revenge would have been complete so ZBW made ZZX to lie to ZH), though it wasn't shown to us. MPJ didn't lie to ZZX as he was his heir. Remember when ZH said about the 3rd enemy to MPJ in prison, PJ said "my good son" it means ZZX DIDN'T reveal his secret.

3. The emperor was most probably poisoned by ZBW,as ZBW said at the end.

Yes there would be lots of questions that we can't find answer in this drama imo. Even a re-watch won't help. Because it was left to be interpreted by ourselves based on the understanding from what we saw. If you have ques post it out, some ppl with better understanding would answer those. Or you can rewatch to interpret yourself

Oki, IMO if you look at the fight closely, she always fight smart. Like tripping the opponent with her leg and attacking the vital part with force. It's not like she's lifting the men and throwing them like a wrestling lol. As for climbing, she was using things to step on while climbing and it's believable. Moreover FL and ML are all part of sealing or destroying the relics of ill omen thing squad so they would probably have superpowers which would be revealed. And don't forget it has a fantasy tag and it means we shouldn't expect justification for the powers lol.

Not a fan of SWL too, but he literally surprised me in this genre he is actually doing great here. As for LHC, i still have. Problem with her expressions(especially smiling in a wrong moment) but she's a martial artist here and doing good in it. As for story, its so much intriguing as it goes on. Be patient for 3 eps and you won't stop watching.

This drama is getting more and more interesting and it's one of the very good dramas to watch at night. Thriller on one hand and mystery on the other. Good going
