I really appreciate how the writers handled Wei yan's feeling for Lady Qiao. It was so matured with no unwanted misunderstanding plot between the brothers nor between the family. Rather than isolating Wei yan they talked it out well.

Even if a rat farts in Wei's house, Lady Yulou would use all the means to use it to destroy the relationship between the leads. It's really disgusting, pathetic and funny when I look at how she's going all out and try everything to do it.

What did Lanyun get in return after tipping Wei Shao about the painting. She is a stupid. No matter what that painting was beautiful. And Love the way WS handled it.

So I have a haunch that all these masters are related to Dongxia, given the lichu is in zhen tower. She came to help XAT the moment she was about to get caught. Since she is the princess of Dongxia, she also wanted to know about Gui seal and works to find it out. And she bought the coin ZH wanted. If ZH was followed by XAT and can find that ZH was searching for the coin, how come she don't know that ZH visited his old house?

This thought came to my mind the moment he was bullied. It's understandable if he didn't go through training. but clearly he trained for two months though not enough, it should at least be able to defend himself. But then I was happy that he fought back after the punishment.
So many things in this drama doesn't make sense, and this added to the list

Yeh, he is like a lost soul. no matter how much his grandma and Zhonglin own him, he has that inferiority within. Adding salt to the wound, he fell for QX and it'd be tormenting to be in the same place even though he have a home to call. It'd be too unfair if he have a tragic end. I'd rather have him a happy ending than others tbh.

I'm glad someone mentioned him. His acting is truly impressive so much so that you can immerse yourself into the sadness he is experiencing. His soul being shattered into pieces slowly is expressed through i=his eyes alone, not many can pull this.

Lady Youlu is truly despicable but it's too satisfying to see her fail in every step that she takes. At times I feel so pathetic for her trying to use her beauty and the vulnerable side of hers to lure the men she need. I'm glad that Wei shao knew what he is doing and avoiding the misunderstanding plots. Hence the plot is so well written.

On the other hand, Wei yan being a grey character and bottling up his love for FL pains me a bit. He really knew how to carry the emotions. His eyes are enough for us to see that his soul is shattering slowly by what he is experiencing. The male cast and Xuan lu's acting are not a joke, they went all out for this drama. Love it

I don't think Su zhixin is in love with Youlu.

If you are into, revenge without any physical fights you are good to go

Exactly my thought. I was wondering how the hell did he roam freely to the tomb that his father protected. He was inside there for the whole night, Marquis is insane if he didn't let anyone follow him. ZH on the other side is too careless in the wolf den setting mechanism in open in the ancestral ritual?. It doesn't make sense at all to me.
I'm still at 11 pondering whether to continue this.

But if the masked man is Marquis himself then it'd make all sense and I don't care if the lead is not smart also XD.

Reg pacing. I think the plot itself was written like that, So editing and pacing won't be changed. Because I felt it's already too slow(May be the plot should have included the details in itself for us to be hooked all the time). But you hit the nail on head when you said illogical. Yes it is like that in almost all the things going there. But I thought it was only me but thank god you too feel the same. Almost all of them made the so called inexperienced male lead excuse but I don't feel so.

I completely agree with ZH is being played. But why didn't they show the one who took the weapon out? It should either be the servant or marquis himself(given that he is a masked one)? no one can enter Marquis resident casually that too in ancestral hall. So much is going on let's wait.
