Teresa Li is so talented. She was incredible in The Long Season (2023). She's only 24, & won a Golden Rooster Award (Viva La Vida), one of the most prestigious honors in Chinese cinema. The youngest ever to get that award. too. Just started this and I hope it does her justice. :D

I just began, and I can usually tell if I'd like a drama immediately. I cracked up when Zhao Yuan was called despicable for eavesdropping lolol (even after he killed someone which is far more despicable). Interesting first episode, I look forward to more.

I gave it an easy 10/10 and I loved the ending too. It's not what some people are making it.
i.e. not a sad ending. They get together in the afterlife, recognizing each other right away. It's beautiful.
