Teresa Li is so talented. She was incredible in The Long Season (2023). She's only 24, & won a Golden Rooster Award (Viva La Vida), one of the most prestigious honors in Chinese cinema. The youngest ever to get that award. too. Just started this and I hope it does her justice. :D
I’m not equipped for sad endings so I’m going to drop it before I get there. which is said because Lu Si is…
Understand. I watched up to ep 36, jumped to the last, see if I can handle it lol, then go back. I've done this countless of times. It seems Chinese dramas lately have all sad endings. My last 5 dramas plus a movie >.<.
The chemistry among all the actors in this drama is lit. It's as if they are truly close in real life. I'm early on and I really really really hope we don't lose any of them...
Zhang Tian Yang is playing a great role in this. I was so hoping that he wasn't playing a bad character this time around like in War of Faith. His acting is so versatile.
What a great surprise to see Wang Jin Song playing ML's father in this. I've loved him since NiF. Extremely talented actor. Is there a reason that he isn't listed in the cast?
I just began, and I can usually tell if I'd like a drama immediately. I cracked up when Zhao Yuan was called despicable for eavesdropping lolol (even after he killed someone which is far more despicable). Interesting first episode, I look forward to more.
