You know what's really cool about her fighting style? She has really good form in her fighting movements. It could be her dancing background (i.e. limber) but I wonder if she ever studied martial arts as well.

She becones a force to be reckoned with so stick with it 😃. Some of the great scenes are her defending him. She stands up against bullies from the beginning (and later too) and speaks her mind. She is no damsel in distress. 🥰

Lots of movies and dramas are told in flashback, sometimes the whole movie, for example, Titanic and Amadeus are told in a flashback. I'm glad you are trying CDrama and I hope you fall in love with it as I have. There are lots of linear Chinese dramas that you can find that you may enjoy more. Many of them are RomCom though. I personally love flashback dramas and movies, as long as it's told in a clear fashion such as this one has.

I was hooked with both of them around episode 8. I was skeptical at first too but as each episode passed I loved them more and more together. Great chemistry and she's adorable, plays the role perfectly.
