I think it's common for the first couple of episodes, people feel somewhat confused because there are so many factions and also time jumps but once you get deeper, you'll see why this is called a masterpiece.
Is this any similar to the long ballad or love like the galaxy? I need something similar to those two to watch.
There is nothing like this out there so it's hard to compare it with any CDrama. NiF is arguably the best CDrama ever made. It is complex, and sometimes rewatching it, you will see more to the story. It is not a light drama. It is extremely intense with lots of layers. The hook was in episode 3 for me so I went back to watch ep 1 and 2 to make sure I understood all the details.

Love him. Not only is he good-looking but he is a wonderful talent. Can play both good and evil characters flawlessly. I try to watch all Xue Yi's dramas.

Had to watch the drinking part in ep 12 again today. It's so believable and a really fun part. Not just between FL and ML but Qing and Xue Ying before that. It's so excellent.

I finished it. It's my opinion that it was slow and overrated, and everyone has a right to their opinion. I noticed there is a group of you that are going around bashing others who have a different opinion of the drama. I do like RomCom, by the way, and therefore it is my type of drama.

I laughed so hard in some places where Zhang Xin Cheng swapped bodies. This is a really well-done drama. Good comedy, great acting. After I finished it, I right away watched it again with someone because I couldn't wait to share the funny parts. ^^

I loved it and have seen it 3 times. It rates near the top on China's Douban list and many see it as a masterpiece. The high rating is no mistake, it is a wonderful, deep and intriguing drama. But it really depends what you like. Some people like simple love stories or comedy. This is neither.
Rewatched this with my family. Everyone loved it. It is really a unique and wonderful drama. Not sure if everyone knows this but it was based on a true story and essays from a real-life trauma cleaner.
I agree, also, you know what's really good about this drama that many other dramas lack, is the different relationships between all the characters. I really love it.
I really couldn't stand Bai Xue Lu in the beginning but her interaction with Qing in the water was really really cute. I hope he can change her for the better. Spoilers are welcome :P as I didn't read the novel.
