I'm with you. Haven't watched ep 12 yet but after reading all the comments... I guess I can stop hoping. Was still holding out for a remote possibility .....our couple surviving after ep 11 even if they were separated , then reunite in present time.....I'd be happy w/ that....but, oh well. ....I ❤️ MH's character. She wanted to go to Germany & study but meeting HT changed her fate/destiny and even cost her life (IMO). But that's the power of love, I guess. So sad. I'm grieving. I hope they get paired again in a "lighter" drama. Yeah, thank goodness Hospital playlist is coming up.
I didn't like A Piece of Your Mind at all. Same with Imitation. I agree with Move to Heaven and Class of Lies…
Felt the same about APOYM. It started so strong and my fav JHI was in it, the cinematography-amazing But the FL kinda ruined it for me plus drama also lost direction and went downhill midway. ....just my opinion. Can't stand kwang Nam--rude and self righteous. Kwang Sik has the best heart among the sisters. Kwang Tae is just so immature and doesn't even apply herself & just mooch off her sisters. What did the dad do that made all the kids hate him so much? Just seemed excessive IMO....
Finally it is getting some pace. Putting Do Young Geol close to Choi Yeon Soo make the drama more interesting.…
He's my fav villain--there's a certain charm or charisma about him. Even while being "bad" he thinks he's being patriotic. Another villain who has similar vibe is Lee Hae Young(Gochuga) in RWTMR.
The sideplots tie in well with the main one. lol ML is looking older each ep with all the stress and anxiety.
Yup! HJH has been busy while being a stay at home dad lol...picking up package while avoiding being caught by police, tailing/avoiding/fighting NIS agents, investigating a junkie burned agent, rescuing a kidnapped former North Korean defector on a motorcycle…dang! I’m getting stressed at the edge of my seat while watching him pull these jobs then slip back into the house to cook a meal. That's aging him lol....

Hee Tae's dad is so shady... one minute he's acting all refined mingling w/ the upper crust, another he's having his goons beat up some guy??? the actor's so good in his role tho' . He was the evil dad in Beautiful World too. What is his job? I missed that.....I know he's having $ issues--that's why he needed the marriage between his son & Soo Ryeon to happen .
IMO he's not a bad person...just the undercover work sometimes takes a toll--blurred reality mixing w/ undercover identity---undercover agents all become expert liars. He fell in love w/ CYS and he wanted out, but I think the "company" or the NIS still had hooks on him. If they are following BBC series, some of the covert ops were bad ops and HJH/LSK was involved in some(he had no knowledge back then). STOP here...if you don't want viewing experience to be marred by major spoiler....He will help his wife to purge out the baddies. JJH is soooo good in his role!!! He's so expressive w/ his eyes, can feel his conflicted self holding so much from his family.

Finally finished it. ... absolutely true---drama lost its original spark...but still a good watch. SYJ is definitely Baeksang worthy despite all the rumors--died down now...whew!
