Yup! YongGeon has set the bar for couple chemistry sooooo high!!! I like your alternate script for this drama. I comment on other dramas but don't go neurotic on checking and answering comments/updates like I do for this one. Plus I found friends w/ same views.

Got me all choked up reading that....this drama, man! it's doing such a number on me emotionally....left such an impact...that I may need some processing time to move forward....so glad there's someone who shares the same sentiment that I could commiserate w/. Kudos to all the actors and production crew for making this drama so special....daebakk!!! Especially hats off to CYH and LJH(love of my life in kdramaland)--our ill fated Yong Geon. Till I find my next shippable couple......

yeah, i kinda expected that... he's the Byung In here...sacrificing his life to redeem himself I guess.....so heartbreaking!!!! I'm gonna hold on to his words as truth that he loved MY. Need to find closure to move on......

Agreed. He's so hot, so digging his tortured soul vibe to the very end. Swooning aside, LJH did such a good job as GG. GG was a deep, complex character and LJH gave GG some soul. He should be nominated for some award at least. He's actually been consistently good in these kinds of roles.

I did watch ep 17(which had me on a high cuz our girl MY saved GG and they escaped to Silla) but then the crash in ep 18 which you guys saved me from where our MY overheard GG's convo w/ princess....reading all the comments was enough to break my heart.....needed 911 therapy after that....

her acting was ...tooo tooo good ...just the way her character is written in the last few eps ..is disappointing
Ep 13 now... ..i can see your point about the FL character changing to be more ok (I still find it hard to" like" her and the ML) and momentum of the drama has somewhat gone flat and losing its original punch...some of the scenes are almost like fillers(eps 9-12). Momentum picked ep 13--new twist w/ FL's mom identity. I love the supporting characters tho' ... their development like the CEO and Ju Ri, pizza guy and ST--the actor OJS needs to win the Baeksang!!! How everyone is connected and had somewhat of a past w/ each other and how the writernim gradually unfolds the story made this drama very therapeutic......

??Reading your post lightened my otherwise blah/ meh/sad mood all stemming from the impending tragic fate of our Yong Geon. Binge watching its ok not to be ok made me ok for not being ok for 2 days but the knot in my stomach has returned cuz ep 19 is coming......at this point pls let OD live & have happy ending w/ princess... Somehow thinking of that gave me therapeutic closure of the weirdest kind. Wonder how Nicole the Greek is doing.....

Another Ko Mun yeong's book read in ep 7-- the Cheerful dog....OMG! The writersnim in this drama so brilliant!!!! So freeing!!!! Anyone reading this who hasn't watch this and on the fence...... Ignore all the bad press about SYJ and watch this.... So good.....a little halfway tru' this drama already. I was sold out on Beyond Evil as best drama....but this is slowly catching up. All the characters has something that would resonate w/ us...... In tears but loving it....

Watched FOE already...very good. It's hard for me to hate GG mainly cuz LJH is love of my life in kdramaland haha!!! Started watching its ok not to be ok.....actually very therapeutic. The safety for that drama was I didn't care for any of the actors in it. Also was curious why it was nominated for so many baeksang....now I know why....

Oh no!!! Her character is actually growing on me. Kinda turned off by her super abrasive & repulsive self in ep 1 even tho' she's totally in character. Had stop stop watching.....back again after sister's urging and awards noms.......gotta admit SYJ is very good!!!!!!

Ep 4 is so good.... I wanna read all of ko mun yeong's books lol. Zombie kid is so raw and real ....so blown away by the end of ep 4. Wow! I started watching just to check out all the hype & so many baeksang noms.....it's all that it's cracked up to be and getting better by each ep. At ep 5 now.
