i don't know but in the starting it was really interesting for me but then i got bored and was just watching because…
The good thing about this drama is the music and the eyecandy.... what REALLY sucks are the characters and the writing in general. That is why a lot of people prefer Hana Yori Dango (Jversion) and the rating of that one is higher...^^' I like both versions, but now I'd say I also prefer the japanese version simply because the characters there act reasonable and are likeable... I still like to listen to the OST of the korean version though:)
If you are into childhood friends turning to lovers (?) then probably. (Mind you, didn't finish it yet so this might not be true.. lol)
What I like about the drama: quite accurate representation of the time period, a lot of situations every (ex-)student/teen can relate to, be it something that happens during school or at home/in private... and great characters!!
the bad: fangirling of the girl(s) is taken to an extreme. Yeah, being obsessed with idols I can understand to some degree, but here they clearly exaggerate it up to a point where you will just be annoyed by it...
I think what this show really excels at is that it just feels 'natural' and super believable, a lot of other drama I've watched always try to be realistic but fail at it..
I just started watching this and the romance is stellar, however I have some issues with the action/military aspect of the show... I just don't enjoy it that much... maybe it will pick up later on, I surely hope so...
On a side note, there are so many situations which are completely unrealistic and recquire you to have a huge amount of suspension of disbelief... I know, this is a fictional story but I can't help being bothered by it anyway..
